LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Zubeidat K. Tsarnaev’s mugshot photo has been revealed from her 2012 arrest for alleged shoplifting. Zubeidat K. Tsarnaev this week told news that her sons Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were in her mind set up by the U.S. government and are great people. Her husband called Dzhokhar a “true angel”. But in fact, Zubeidat was arrested for alleged shoplifting at Lord and Taylor. In fact the date of her arrest is probative. It occurred at the same time that Russia FSB claims that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was allegedly traveling overseas to meet with other radicalized Islam followers.
Zubeidat K. Tsarnaev’s son Tamerlan consistently wrote and spoke about his love and desire for money. He and his brother had access to cars and loved to drive a Mercedes and BMW even though they appear to not have been financially well off.
But in June 2012, according to Russia Today, their mom was arrested and charged with larceny of women’s clothing from t Lord & Taylor in Natick, Massachusetts.
In recent days, she and her husband were accused by family members of leaving their children to alone to be raised by themselves. Yet Patch.com reported in 2012 that she was allegedly stealing clothing. “Loss prevention from Lord & Taylor called to report they had detained a shoplifter. Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva, 45, of 410 Norfolk St., Apt. 3, Cambridge, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 (women’s clothing valued at $1,624), and two counts of malicious/wanton damage/defacement to property.” At the same time, son Tamerlan is accused of travelling overseas allegedly to meet other radical Islam followers.
Tamerlan became being watched by foreign entities in 2010. In 2009, Tamerlan was given a domestic violence arrest and conviction for alleged conduct against his then girlfriend. In 2010 he was said to have started becoming radicalized. A year later, he was being watched by Russia’s FSB. And in 2012, that same organization contacted the FBI warning that Tamerlan might be traveling overseas that summer to meet up with other radicalized followers.
