LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Mynor Lopez and Cabrera Gustavo are hoping Tuesday’s Guatemala vs. Belize 2011 Copa Mundial (World Cup) qualifying match ends how the last match did, with a quick early goal and an impressive win. When Guatemala vs. Belize 2011 took to the field in September, Dean McCauley delivered the sole goal for Belize. But an early goal at the four minute mark by Cabrera Gustavo put Guatemala in control; a seventy-five minute mark goal by Lopez gave Guatemala the win. Tuesday Guatemala hopes to do the same.

Tuesday’s match is the second round showdown for the Group E Table of World Cup Qualifying matches (CONCACAF). A win by Belize would tie up Group E. Before Tuesday’s match, Guatemala is in first place ranking with two wins and no losses, while Belize has two losses and one win.

Guatemala is already advancing because of three stellar wins. It defeated St Vincent in a masterful 4-0 win this September, days before its win against Belize. Then last week, Guatemala defeated St Vicente against with a 3-0 win. Belize has been inconsistent. It loss to Guatemala and then Grenada, even though it beat Grenada last month. Click HERE for updates Tuesday.

In August, Belize made news after the FIFA emergency committee provisionally lifted a suspension imposed on the team. The team had not been suspended by FIFA but by the Football Federation of Belize. FIFA found that suspension to be the result of “severe governmental interference”. In a news statement at the time FIFA said “The emergency committee has decided that, should the FFB not be able to definitively settle the issues at stake with the authorities by 15 August 2011, then the suspension of the FFB would be automatically reinstated.”

Panama vs. Nicaragua 2011: Luis Tejada is Critical for World Cup Qualifier Win

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – When Panama vs. Nicaragua 2011 battle tomorrow (en vivo 9 pm EST) in the Copa Mundial (World Cup) qualifying match, Luis Tejada will be anxious for another win. Luis Tejada was the icing on the cake for Panama in the last Panama vs. Nicaragua match. Panama in July not only defeated Nicaragua but also shocked fans and news critics with a masterful 0-4 win. Tejada delivered two of those goals.

This time around, Tejada and team will attempt to do the same. In the last showdown, Panamanian goals also came from Blas Perez and Gabriel Gomez. The key, however, was offense. Panama had eleven goal attempts, Nicaragua only four.

Nicaragua, in fact, has struggled this year. In the Copa Oro (Gold Cup), it loss to Guadeloupe as well. But while it loss previously to Panama, that match was in the Copa Oro, it was not a qualifying match. Instead, Nicaragua has only played one qualifier to date, defeating Dominica previously 2-0.

Tomorrow’s match is a showdown for Group C World Cup qualifying. Panama has two wins, no losses, while Nicaragua is right behind in the rankings with one win and one loss.

While Panama is narrowly in first place in Group C currently, a win by Nicaragua tomorrow could tie up the Group standing. Moreover, since both teams next face Dominica ( a perceived easy competitor), a win by Nicaragua Tuesday could end in sending both teams to the next round. Click HERE for updates.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – El Salvador vs. Cayman Islands (en vivo 9:30 EST) battle in the CONCACAF World Cup (Copa Mundial) Qualifier Tuesday. For Cayman Islands, this match is critical. Tuesday’s soccer match is the second round of the Group A table for both countries. Currently in Group A, El Salvador is in first place, while Cayman Islands is in last place.

Prior to Tuesday’s showdown, El Salvador has been stellar. It defeated the Dominican Republic 3-2. Cayman Islands, however, has loss to Suriname twice 0-1 and 1-4, and loss to El Salvador 1-4 previously. But most fans and news analysts are expecting a huge win for Salvador tomorrow.

Luis Anaya was the critical striker for Salvador the last time it faced the Cayman Islands. On September 6, Luis Anaya made news delivered two of four goals in the match. It delivered a strike at the sixty-two minute mark but then came back with a second at the ninety minute mark. Cristian Bautista and Garcia Moises delivered the remaining goals.

Nicaragua vs Panama 2011: Avila, Rodriguez Ready for Critical Match

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Tonight’s Nicaragua vs Panama 2011 will be far more critical for Panama which failed to score in its last match. Tuesday night’s Nicaragua vs Panama World Cup qualifying match follows a recent horrible loss by Panama and stunning win for Nicaragua. The question remains whether Nicaragua can continue its impressive run this month on the field tonight.

Just days ago, against Dominica, Nicaragua delivered one goal only a minute into action. After Raul Moises Leguias Avila scored instantly into live play, Felix Rodriguez came back with a second goal at the thirty-six minute mark.

But when Nicaragua vs Panama kicks of tonight (en vivo at 8 pm EST), Nicaragua is going to hope to secure a lead in Group C of the Concacaf World Cup qualifying tables.

But Panama knows how to win. Panama last made news with a stunning appearance at the Copa Oro 2011. After appearing in Group C, Panama qualified first to the next round.

In Group action, Panama for its opener had scorning from Perez, Tejaada, and Gomez to win against Guadeloupe. Then, as reported on LALATE back in June, Panama made news defeating host country USA with the talents of Gomez. But in the semi-finals, USA was able to effectuate revenge. Before a Houston crowd of local news and fans, USA defeated Panama. Eventually USA would lose to Mexico in Pasadena for the finals.

With so many qualifiers and international friendly matches today, Nicaragua vs Panama is certainly getting the least news coverage. But based upon these two teams’ performances in recent weeks, this could become one of the biggest matches of the week. For updates click HERE.
