Wayne Rooney Apologies to Jamie Thomas for Broken Wrist

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Wayne Rooney has apologized to Jamie Thomas who suffered a broken wrist during the Wolves game. In a news statement moments ago, Wayne Rooney issued an apology and sent his love to Thomas.
Rooney told news within the hour “[I] saw the story about the young boy who broke his wrist from my shot at the Wolves game – I’m sorry to hear about that.” He added “I have sent a letter and a signed shirt and hope Jamie Thomas gets better soon.”
Manchester United fan Jamie Thomas had always wanted to see a Man United game. Recently, the 9 year old had his dream come true. But during the match, Thomas got injured by Rooney’s ball. British news reports that Thomas saw the ball coming and put his hands in front of his face for protection. But in the end, he suffered a shattered wrist.
At first, Thomas thought it was just a nominal injury. But he said the pain grew progressively. He asked his dad to let him watch the rest of the game. Rather, his farther insisted to have the wrist tended to by on-site medical officials.
But Jamie tells news that it was “brilliant” that Rooney broke his wrist. “I missed most of the second half but it was worth it. I think it’s brilliant that Wayne Rooney broke my wrist. Everyone at school wanted to sign my plaster cast.”
