Vincent Legrend Walters Arrested for Christina Reyes Murder

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Vincent Legrend Walters has been arrested in the Christina Reyes murder case. Vincent Legrend Walters was number fourteen on the US Most Wanted Fugitives list. That was until Friday when Walters was captured in Mexico.
Vincent Legrend Walters had been sought for decades for the Christina Reyes murder case in 1988 in San Diego. Officials in a news statement claim that Walters was “had boasted to people that he was a fugitive from San Diego and wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.”
Officials tell news that Walters had changed his name and was living in Cancun. Even though he worked as “Oscar Rivera” at Cancun International airport, Walters still bragged to friends that he was a fugitive wanted in a murder case. He also worked inside a Puerto Morelos hotel. His brother, Martin Walters, was arrested and convicted of kidnapping and killing Reyes, decades earlier.
Vincent was a subject of an American Most Wanted telecast in December last year. At the time, AMW told news that “But Vincent Walters has remained on the lam. On June 18, 1989, Walters was indicted on conspiracy to manufacture, possess and distribute crystal methamphetamine. He was also indicted for carrying firearms during a drug trafficking crime, and possession of unregistered firearms and explosives.” They added “Walters is also wanted by the San Diego Police Department for the murder of Christina Reyes. But until cops can get him behind bars, this horrible incident will not be over.”
