ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Did Vince Young sign with the Eagles? Vince Young Eagles reports have muddied an original report that did not state that Young has been signed. On Friday, Doug Farrar of Yahoo News wrote “The signing was first reported by Albert Breer of the NFL Network.” But Breer never said that. Or did he? As of this hour, the Eagles have yet to confirm any news. But sources close to Young says he is expected to sign with the Eagles, but still hasn’t.

“To clarify, I did NOT say Vince Young signed with the Eagles” wrote Breer on Twitter. “I said he’d agreed to go there”. But in his report, Breer wrote Young “Now he’ll serve as a backup for the Philadelphia Eagles after reaching a one-year deal with the team Thursday, according to a source close to the quarterback.”

From there, other reports suggest that Young “may” or is “expected” to join. Clark Judge of CBSSports.com used the word “expected”. “The Eagles are expected to add Young”. But he adds “Looks like they’re following through, with Young a virtual certainty to join the team.”

ESPN is reporting the same. Dan Graziano and Adam Schefter repot that the Young “has been eyeing” the move as “a potential destination”.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Vince Young will start Sunday, Titans confirmed this morning to news. Vince Young will start after missing last week with knee and ankle injuries. Just days ago, Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Young was looking probable for tomorrow. “There is a good chance Vince will start … I think everything came together for us this week.” Young was injured on October 18 but was able to practice Wednesday through Friday.

And what else is coming together?

Kerry Collins might be healed for Sunday; his injured middle finger looks hopeful for the backup quarterback. Titans tell news that a series of other injured players are also now possible for Sunday: wide receiver Justin Gage (hamstring), running back Chris Johnson (thigh), defensive end Jacob Ford (hamstring) and guard Leroy Harris (hip).

Meantime, linebacker Jamie Winborn remains out with a shoulder injury. Rennie Curran tells the Tennessean he might take to the field Sunday. “Being able to contribute and feeling like you are more a part of the team, that means a lot to me. Once I get that first play in I’ll be fine.”

The Tennessee Titans quarterback appeared shirtless in party photos along with other shirtless beefy men.Now the Titans star has apologized to fans for the party that was in Austin, Texas last month.

“I was having a good time with friends … and you know how it is, as a quarterback you can’t have too much fun. I blame myself for that, but at the same time you have to watch certain things,’’ Young said. “That is the life of a quarterback, somebody of my status,” said Young. “I guess somebody was trying to make some money and sold the picture to the web site. But at the same time that is the life I chose to live. But it is not going to stop me from having fun. I just have to watch myself.”
