Former UFC Fighter Loses House in Holiday Fire

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Dennis Hallman, the former UFC fighter, lost his house on Thanksgiving during a fire. Dennis Hallman thanked fans for their support today. Hallman told news that his family got out safe and no one was injured. But most of Dennis Hallman’s personal items were lost in the fire, he tells news.

In a news statement on Facebook, Dennis Hallman said “Sad Thanksgiving for me and my family. My house burned down early this AM.” He added “Thank God no one was hurt and I have that to be thankful for. Something like this makes my recent direction change all the harder…the one person that could make me feel okay about everything is no longer here. When God wants you to have a fresh start sometimes he really wants to make his point clear.”

“On top of all the s*** that I’ve been going thru lately, my house burned down last night,” his wrote this Thanksgiving. “No one hurt but, What else can possibly go wrong?”

Just recently, he was set to fight on UFC on FX. But after missing weight, his fight was cancelled, and he was given show money. The day of weigh-ins for UFC on FX 5 in Minneapolis, Hallman learned he had been let go.

After being cut by UFC, he told news “They are cutting me … Dana gave me my show and win pay to help me deal with the mountain in front of me. Now I have to go make weight a couple times on the regional circuit. I’ll be back to the UFC though, I always am.” He added “I’m having some personal issues at home,” Hallman said. “I’m not fit to fight. I told Dana what my issues were. He understands family matters, and he was cool with me not fighting.”

UFC Bans Fighter Jason Mayhem Miller After UFC 146 Results

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – UFC banned fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller after poor results in UFC 146. UFC president Dana White swiftly banned Mayhem Miller for failing to deliver an adequate fight against CB Dolloway this Saturday and after bizarre antics that White didn’t approve.

UFC 146 results this weekend produced several lackluster showings by its headliners. But one fighter was swiftly banned from UFC after a bizarre entrance and then a disappointing fight.

Dana White told news Saturday night that UFC was “done” with Miller. When sought for comment by MMAFighting.com, White said that something happened backstage in UFC 146. White clarified that it was “nothing physical”. But he added “Mayhem’s done. He’s gone.” White said the encounter was “just some b-t that I don’t want to talk about. We’re on a crazy string here of dumb b–.”

Miller had displeased White both during weigh-ins and later with his fight entrance. For weigh-ins, Miller wore a pink feather boa and carried a boom-box. For his fight, he came in wearing a mask.

White called the antics, considering Miller’s poor performance, not acceptable. “I’m not into that stuff. It’s not my thing. I guess I don’t really care if guys do it, because you see it at the weigh-ins all the time. You see stuff like that, but come on, man. Take this thing seriously. You want to be a clown? Do that on your reality show.”
