Canseco premiered as a MMA fighter May 26 in Japan against South Korean Hong Man Choi. The ticket was called DREAM 9 and is at the Yokohama Arena.

At the time Heidi Northcott told the Baltimore Sun: “The 1988 AL MVP is part of a card that includes an eight-man open-weight tournament and is being called the Super Hulk Tournament. By his acknowledgment, the baseball outcast needs the money. It’s one reason why Canseco has accepted a wide variety of offbeat jobs to make ends meet.”

Chuck is reportedly sponsored by the show company. He also has a background in Kempo, Koei Kan, and Kick Boxing. He’s record is 21 wins, 7 losses, but this video is a winner. In July last year he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Lindell was previous engaged to Erin Wilson.

After UFC 110’s stunning night of matches, Nogueira was defeated swiftly by Velasquez in the first round by a series of knockout punches leaves Nogueira out cold 2 minutes into the round.

Velasquez had said about Noguiera before tonight:

“I’m excited to be fighting a legend like Nogueira. He goes out there and has exciting fights, fights with all his heart and that’s how I fight.”

A former security guard for nightclubs, Velasquez came into tonight with a history of wrestling honors: “Two-time All-American in wrestling for Arizona State, Two-time Pac-10 Champion, junior college national champion for Iowa Central Community College.”

But the story that will be told on Monday was how he won tonight having just started fighting only 16 months ago!

Meantime, in 60 days, UFC will head to another level. The organization confirms UFC 112 will be in Abu Dhabi for the first time ever on April 10.
