90210 Picture!
PICTURE! Here’s a August photo of the new CW 90210. The first CW picture didn’t have Rob Estes, since casted. The second CW picture only featured the younger cast members. This new CW photo is just, well … bad!
Tristan Wilds looks great. Tristan is dead center in the photo smiling. So why is Tristan smiling and the rest of the cast look like they are about to steal your Dallas oil well, or cheat you out of Dynasty real estate? Most everyone else in the photo looks serious, dark clothes, boring.
This picture is in stark contrast to CW 90210 picture number 2, the one in the pool that featured Michael Steger, Dustin Milligan, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Stroup, Tristan Wilds and Shenae Grimes. For that picture, CW said: “One of our primary goals in developing a campaign is to match the marketing to the personality of the individual show, so ‘90210’ will have its own unique look and feel, as does ‘Gossip Girl,’ and ‘Privileged’ and ‘Top Model”.
CW executive vice president of marketing Rick Haskins continued. “For the ‘90210’ campaign, we’re using a lot of vibrant colors and natural sunlight to give it a Southern California appeal to communicate a fun, inviting atmosphere that will appeal to our target audience.”
Sorry, where is the vibrant colors in this picture? The Southern California appeal? If it wasn’t for the palm tree in this picture, you would never think of Beverly Hills from this photo.
