The 1994 film today still remains a huge hit for TV viewers especially even this week during a rebroadcast.

Angela transfers to a new school and make friends with the most popular girl, Stacy. But that friendship turns deadly when Angela realizes she can’t live up to Stacy’s popularity.

The story was derived from the Bernadette Protti killing of Kirsten Costas that was run in Rolling Stone in 1985 before being made into this tv movie.

Shannen Doherty is responding to claims that she and Jennie Garth had a fight on Beverly Hills 90210 that ended in punches. Doherty says the punching and the fights never happened.

Doherty is setting the record straight now … over a decade later. (Took her a little while.)

Doherty says the alleged incident 14 years ago didn’t happen.

“We never did. I think I would remember Jennie’s fist connecting with a part of my body or a part of my face.”

“It just goes to show you how people will lie,” Doherty tells US , referring to allegedly Tori Spelling’s statement in her autobiography.

That doesn’t mean that Brenda and Kelly can’t have a fight on screen now!

TEAM TORI! Tori Spelling reportedly is in a salary dispute over the CW 90210 amid reports that CW is paying other 90210 alumns triple her salary. Tori Spelling had agreed to sign onto CW 90210 after Jennie Garth but before Shannen Doherty, as reported here on LALATE. But today reports say that Tori is being offered as low as $10,000 an episode - which is basically salary levels of the 1970s.

Reports say that Tori Spelling as Donna Martin was offered $10 to $20,000 per episode, but Garth and Doherty $35 to $50,000. When Tori demanded equal pay, a report says “the network suits have refused. So now my sources tell me that Tori has pulled out of the series, which premieres with a 2-hour special on September 2nd. “She thought she deserved parity, and she’s got a point,” an insider explained to me.”

This last Tuesday’s broadcast of Tori Spelling and Dean was the most-watched telecast in the history of cable channel Oxygen.

1.4 million viewers, not alot for a reality cable show but a lot for Oxygen, tuned in to see Tori give birth to their child. The episode was taped and in fact was from 5 months ago.

LALATE luvs the show. Tori and Dean are just refreshing, cute, and adorable couple that admit a lot of warm on screen. Yes the show is campy sometimes in typical reality show format. But it’s light, and carefree. Unlike other reality shows that try too hard, Tori and Dean is very let loose, very California.
