Johnny Depp in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland! Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska will star in Tim Burton’s next film Alice in Wonderland. Depp will play the Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska as Alice, said Tim Burton today. Alice in Wonderland will mix 3D with live action and CGI.

Mia Wasikowska, 18, will play Alice. She is from Australia.

Alice in Wonderland will start shooting this fall. This is Burton and Depp’s sixth film, starting on 1990’s Edward Scissorhands.

And yes, Depp is coming back as a Pi-rrrate for Disney for their fourth film also in the works.

Johnny Depp remains on LALATE as one of fans most beloved, and humbled, actors today. Such a talent.
