Back then LALATE told you it’s one of the best darn sounds you will hear this summer. Initially dropped online was a snippet of the single.
Now the entire track has hit online this week. And what does LALATE think of the full track?
Love it, but slightly disappointed. The sound has it all going on … but it doesn’t take it anywhere. It doesn’t build. The bridge is lacking. It basically sounds the same from the initial verse to the final verse in vibe. But it’s so good, you got to love it. (Paradise would be a dance remix of the song.)
The single will be featured on Solange’s August 26,2008 album: “Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams”.
As evident by coverage over the last few months here, LALATE is a HUGE fan of Solange’s sound and this album. The first single will be “I Decided”.
Common’s new album “Invicible Summer” will drop this July LALATE can report. The album is on Kanye West’s Good Music lable.“Universal Mind Control (U.M.C.)” is expected to be the first single dropping in late May. The album is produced by the Neptunes and Mr. DJ.
Appearances could include Cee-Lo, Chester French and Santogold.
