Serena Busted For Tiger Woods Photo at Honda Classic

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Serena Williams was busted for her Tiger Woods photo at the Honda Classic yesterday. Serena admitted being busted in a Twitter message to news after officials stepped in to curb the tennis star’s paparazzi-like moment.

While Serena has a history of notable fines for impermissible conduct on the tennis court, on Friday she got in trouble for conduct on a golf course instead. Serena was excited that the Honda Classic had headed to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. So the tennis star took to the greens to see Tiger. But when she memorialized the experience, officials set in.

During one notable moment, Serena unbeknownst to the rules tried to take a picture of Tiger. Quickly officials stopped her. She later told news “Ok at this Golf tournament. Just saw @ Tiger Woods. I understand NOo golf. Apparently you can’t take pics. This security [guard] for mad and yelled at me.”

In November 2009, Williams was fined a record sum for her U.S. Open outburst. Her $82,500 fine at the time broke a previous record set by Jeff Tarango of $48,000. She told news “I did not threaten to kill you. Are you serious? ” She added . “I don’t know how many times I have seen that happen. I am a professional. I’m not the beggar, like, ‘Please, please, please, let me have another chance,’ because it was the rules and I play by the rules.”

In 2011, Williams went on another tirade at the US Open, this time at judge Eva Asderaki. “Aren’t you the one that scr—wed me over last time here? Yeah you are. Seriously, you have it out for me? I promise you, that’s not cool. That’s totally not cool. I truly despise you” Williams fumed.

Serena Williams Outburst Video From U.S. Open 2011 Prompts New Tirade Scandal

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Serena Williams outburst shocked the U.S. Open in 2009. Last night, yet another Serena Williams outburst hit the court. During the U.S. Open 2011 action Sunday, Williams was shouting again at the judges (video below). Now insiders believes a fine is expected for Williams. So what did Serena Williams say this time at the U.S. Open?

In November 2009, Williams was fined a record sum for her U.S. Open outburst. Her $82,500 fine broke a previous record set by Jeff Tarango of $48,000.

Despite the 2009 fine, Williams defended her outburst. “I did not threaten to kill you. Are you serious? “An apology from me? How many people yell at linespeople? I see it happening all the time” she told news. “I don’t know how many times I have seen that happen. I am a professional. I’m not the beggar, like, ‘Please, please, please, let me have another chance,’ because it was the rules and I play by the rules.”

Williams’ 2009 outburst was concerning a foot fault. Williams said to the line judge at the time “I swear to God I’m… going to take this ball and shove it down your… throat, you hear that? I swear to God. You better be glad… glad that I’m not, I swear.”

The U.S. Open was unhappy about the 2009 controversy stating “The maximum permissible on site fine of $10,000 has been levied for unsportsmanlike conduct against Serena Williams for her on court behavior during the women’s semi-final. Ms Williams also will be fined $500 for racket abuse which took place at the end of the first set of the same match.”

The U.S. Open has yet to comment about Williams’ conduct yesterday. But in 2009 it stated what its code of conduct details. “No matter what the circumstances, no player should be allowed to engage in such behavior without suffering consequences. I have spoken with the USTA about this matter and I agree with the action they have taken. As a role model, it’s important for a leader like Serena to step forward and recognize her behavior last night was unacceptable.”

This time Williams was angry at judge Eva Asderaki. “Aren’t you the one that scr—wed me over last time here? Yeah you are. Seriously, you have it out for me? I promise you, that’s not cool. That’s totally not cool. I truly despise you” Williams started.

Then she added “If you ever see me walking down the hall, look the other way because you’re out of control. You’re a hater and you’re just unattractive inside.”

Williams still wasn’t finished. “Who would do such a thing? And I never complain. Wow. What a loser. You get a code violation because I express who I am. We’re in America last I checked. Can I get a water? Or am I going to get violated for a water? Really, don’t even look at me. I promise you don’t look at me… Don’t look my way.”

The question remains – is a fine all that Serena Williams will get, or should get?

Sunday’s statement by Tennis went on to add the following:

“The grand slam rule book also allows for an investigation to be conducted… to determine if the behaviour of Ms Williams warrants consideration as a ‘major offence’ for which additional penalties can be imposed.

“This investigation has now begun.”
