Get ready for a Wizards of Waverly Place MOVIE! Selena Gomez says a Wizard of Waverly Place movie is in the works! A movie for Selena Gomez’ Disney tv series was revealed by Gomez today to MTV.

“Yes! We actually want to shoot it here in New York,” Selena tells MTV.

So what would be the plot? Selena even gives away a few details! “I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed.”

LALATE earlier this summer showed you the first kiss of her character in the new season of the hit tv series. But who does Selena want on the show? Shia LaBeouf. She says she keeps asking but it still hasn’t happened.

Selena Gomez is set to have auditions. Selena Gomez is starting a band and having auditions. Selena and her desires with a band previously were covered by LALATE NEWS earlier this year.

Gomez said she didn’t understand the Miley Cyrus v. Selena Gomez feud claims since she is going to launch a band, not a solo career like Cyrus.

Now Selena Gomez dishes on her new band and her auditions. Selena tells MTV the following:

“I’m going to be in a band, no Selena Gomez stuff. I’m not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don’t want my name attached to it.

“We plan on holding auditions in Hollywood, and in the meantime I will be in the studio recording some of the songs. As far as actual band members right now, we do not have any, but it is getting closer and closer and I am really excited to be in the studio.”

Selena Gomez is the new spokesperson for UNICEF’s 2008 Trick-or-Treat. UNICEF and Selena Gomez announced today their 58th annual Trick-or-Treat campaign for UNICEF.

Selena said of UNICEF the following today:

“I am extremely excited to be this year’s Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson. I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world and show them that Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is such a great, fun way to get involved.”

Says UNICEF President Caryl Stern:

“We are thrilled to have Selena be a part of the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program this year. Young people can relate to Selena, and she is a great role model who we believe will greatly enhance the visibility of the program.”

Miley Cyrus in contrast has said the following: “I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City. I like to think of myself as the girl that no one can get, that no one can keep in their hand.”
