Taylor reveals the details in new myspace post today:

“I just found out that I get to play on Saturday Night Live!!” she wrote. “January 10th! It’s my mom’s birthday, and I don’t think either of us would’ve believed you if you would’ve told us a few years ago that we’d get to spend her birthday in New York City— at Saturday Night Live! Wow. It’s pretty unreal.

“Things are coming along quite nicely with the tour planning.

“I’m SO SO SO excited for it to all come together. Yesterday, my stage designer brought over a model he made of the stage that looked like a puppet show. So, besides the fact that it’s my dream stage scaled down to a small and adorable size…. it was also fun to play with. Which even further confirms that it’s my dream stage. I’ve worked up most of the musical arrangements and transitions between songs. I can’t wait for you to see this show. I can’t wait for this summer tour.”

Paterson Saturday Night Live

David Paterson is unhappy with the SNL Saturday Night Live video of him. New York Governor David Paterson says the SNL skit which made fun of his blindness was inappropriate.

LALATE’s fav and co-alum Paterson has reportedly been joined by disability advocates in calling the skit simply unfunny.

Paterson’s spokesman, Errol Cockfield, issued a statement today:

“The governor engages in humor all the time, and he can certainly take a joke. However, this particular ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit unfortunately chose to ridicule people with physical disabilities and imply that disabled people are incapable of having jobs with serious responsibilities.”

VIDEO! Watch the Blagojevich SNL video. Here’s the Ron Blagojevich SNL Saturday Night Live video. The Jason Sudeikis Blago SNL lines included a question to Blago about that darn hair:

“It’s beside the point, but… The hair. Really! It looks you’re wearing a toupee that’s also wearing a toupee. It’s a pro-ceeding hairline… The first time I saw you, I thought you were walking away.”

Jason Sudeikis added a heavy Chicago accent to Blagojevich to create the effect.

But the best line might be when Sen. Elizabeth Dole (Casey Wilson) says Blagojevich is a disgrace to Illinois and then corrects herself to say:

“Well, maybe not to Illinois, but if you were a governor of any other state you would be a disgrace to that state.”

VIDEO! Watch video of the Plaxico Burress skit on SNL! “Plaxico Burress” appears on SNL’s Weekend Update this weekend. Plaxico gives SNL viewers tips on how to best carry around a gun.

Keenan Thompson is hilarious.

LALATE first broke the details several weeks ago of Plaxico Burress carrying a gun in his pocket to a crowded New York club called Latin Quarter, and when handling his drink, and allegedly fumbling in his pocket, his gun went off. Instead of leaving his gun at home, Plaxico now has a league suspension, felony arrest, the Mayor after him, and leg injuries.

When it comes to carrying a concealed firearm into a club, this is when you opt for the fanny pack.

George was convicted of false imprisonment charges last week in a London court. You would think Boy George, and someone getting tied up, would be the basis of a great skit for SNL. But was it? Watch the video below and decide.

VIDEO! Here’s video of Justin Timberlake on SNL! Justin Timberlake did SNL’s Weekend Update. The question however is - did anyone care?

SNL’s website by Sundays after Tina Fey Sarah Palin sketches usually had lodged 200,000 views for Fey’s respective video.

But today, the number of views so far as of 10 am PST for Justin Timberlake’s video on SNL: 5 !

5 views!

And where were Amy Elliott and Michaela Watkins? Not much air time for them this broadcast. And what is with Hulu? Hulu was suppose to air SNL videos after each broadcast - rather it has less than the NBC website. Hulu barely has any SNL videos up from this week.
