Sandy Bentley Playboy Mystery with Mark Yagalla Renewed
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy’s Sandy Bentley (photos below), her involvement with Mark Yagalla’s jewels, and the murder of Garden of Eden doorman Michael Tardio and friend Christopher Monson, is sparking renewed LAPD interest. Playboy’s Sandy Bentley and twin sister Mandy Bentley were seen alongside Hugh Hefner before there was a Holly or Kendra.
At sometime thereafter, Sandy Bentley started dating Mark Yagalla. A new report claims that Yagalla was a hedge fund trader who made millions. But Peter Van Sant last night claimed that Yagalla eventually launched a massive Ponzi scheme. Soon, Bentley was living in the lap of luxury.
Thereafter, federal agents allegedly moved in a tried to seize some of Yagalla’s belonging. Among them were a reported $1 million in jewelry from the couple’s Las Vegas home. When they arrived, the jewelry was gone. Sandy Bentley is accused of allegedly taking the jewelry and then allegedly turning to her new boyfriend to try to sell it on the Los Angeles black market.

Eight years ago, Sandy Bentley and her twin sister Mandy Bentley frequented with other Playboy models then Los Angeles hotspot Garden of Eden. It’s there that Bentley found a new boyfriend, doorman Michael Tardio and friend Christopher Monson. When Tardio and Monson allegedly attempted to sell the jewelry, they reportedly found a buyer willing to pay $1 million. But when they went to allegedly sell the jewelry, they were murdered. Tardio, 35, and Monson, 31, were found dead shot in a burning Mercedes SUV in Van Nuys.

LAPD is reportedly relaunching its investigation and asking the public to call LAPD at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 or 1-877-527-3247 if they have any information. Police have increased their reward to $75,000.
