ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Samantha Sarcinella (photos below) and Kyle Busch got married this weekend in a New Year’s Eve wedding. Samantha Sarcinella and Kyle Busch married after revealing their wedding plans to news in recent months.

Last fall, Sarcinella and Busch confirmed news they would marry New Year’s Eve in Chicago’s Holy Name Cathedral. She told fans at the time that she wanted her wedding to have lots of style. “There are these big old chandeliers and they are designing a square bar covered in ostrich and peacock feathers, my wedding theme.”

Recently Samantha joined Chef Nicky Morse on the Racing Chef show for the Speed Channel.

She told news in 2010 that she is now pursuing a master’s in industrial and organizational psychology from Austin Peay State University. Her previous credits include Sprint, Allstate, Miller Lite, Jim Beam, and Kellogg; a runway model for Harley Davidson; and a swimsuit model in the hit movie, Batman Begins. On air appearances have included Entertainment Tonight, NASCAR Illustrated, and Z-Line Designs.

Today Kyle tweeted “1st tweet as married man. Feels awesome. Had the most beautiful bride n @SamSarcinella who planned a perfect nite and who I love so much!”

Over the last four years, her work with the Kyle Busch Foundation has donated over $250,000 to children in need.

But on ESPN this week, Samantha Sarcinella proves that she is not anything you imagined. Yes, Samantha Sarcinella has appeared in Harley Davidson adds as model. But with a BS in psychology from Purdue, this latest entry into the tv reality landscape is a clear invited departure from the vacancy of today’s pseudo celebs.

The only bad news is that while “Riding Shotgun” is scheduled for tonight through Friday, it’s getting pre-empted. And yet, as fans know, this is not her first entry to tv programming, appearing recently with Chef Nicky Morse on the Racing Chef show for the Speed Channel.

Samantha Sarcinella says today that she will spend more time on modeling and acting as the couple anxiously plan for their upcoming wedding. “We met each other thru the boys. Scott [Speed] and Kyle had flown together somewhere and I can’t really remember but we must have all went out to dinner together at some point. Amanda [Speed] and I hit it off! I remember loving how down to earth she was and she was so funny! It actually surprises people how close Amanda and I and Scott and Kyle are because of how opposite we are! It all works though because our personalities compliment each other, actually we joke that Scott is like me and Amanda is like Kyle lol. Us four have the most amazing time together and we really couldn’t ask for better friends in the world.”
