Gosling Sweat Video Brings C+C Music Factory Memories Back

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The “Gosling Sweat Video” uncovered this week proves that, even in 2012, Ryan Gosling is ready for Hammer Time. Ryan Gosling and sister Mandi Gosling back in 1991 appearances danced to C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” dressed in MC Hammer pants. Only two years after the video was recorded, Ryan was signed to the Mickey Mouse club.
But now we know why Disney wanted Gosling so bad. Gosling starts the video singing Michael Bolton’s “When a Man Loves a Woman”. But sporting his MC Hammer pants, Gosling hits the stage with Mandi and makes the audience want to sweat.
Gosling tells news that the routine helped launched his career. In an interview with the New York Post, Ryan says “We would sing ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’ to the bride…. We’d do it right before the garter ceremony.” He added “While the bride was sitting on the chair, I would get down on my knees and sing the song, and then my sister would sing another song, and then together we would sing ‘Old Time Rock & Roll.’ Then sometimes if we were really killing it, I’d sing ‘Runaround Sue.’”
“Gonna Make You Sweat” helped C+C’s album reach number two on the Billboard 200 album chart, No. 11 on the R&B album chart. The album eventually went 5x platinum.
