Gabriel Nathan Schwartz VIDEO!

Posted on September 16th, 2008 in RNC Convention by lalate

Sarah Palin RNC

VIDEO! Here’s video of that RNC Delegate Gabriel Nathan Schwartz. Gabriel Nathan Schwartz got 1 RNC Convention + 1 night stand - $120,000.

Crazy!

Gabriel Nathan Schwartz went to the Republican National Convention last month to support McCain and Palin and ended up getting something he thought was great - a one night stand.

Reportedly, back to the room, one drink later, and bam - no memory for Schwartz. He claims when he awoke he was missing more than $120,000 in money, jewelry and other belongings.

Say what? No, not $120. But a $120,000.

When he awoke, she of course was gone. Guess he couldn’t ask her if it was good for her. Clearly it was good for her wallet.

If this sounds crazy enough, read the rest of the story here. Below is the delegate in a video, before the event.

Cindy McCain Speech Video

VIDEO! Watch video of Cindy McCain’s speech from tonight at the RNC. Cindy McCain’s speech in the blue dress offered the RNC an intro for her husband.

McCain started by standing without a podium, in a relaxed format of holding a microphone, two handed.

Cindy used the words “truth” and “true” often.

Cindy said: “If Americans want straight talk and the plain truth they should take a good close look at John McCain…a man tested and true…who’s never wavered in his devotion to our country…a man who’s served in Washington without ever becoming a Washington insider…who always speaks the truth no matter what the cost…a man of judgment and character…a loyal and loving and true husband and a magnificent father!”

John McCain RNC Speech

VIDEO! Watch video of John McCain’s RNC Convention speech. In the video, John McCain’s speech tells the RNC, Republican National Convention, that he doesn’t “mind a good fight”.

John McCain’s speech spoke of fights past and present. “For reasons known only to God, I’ve had quite a few tough ones in my life. But I learned an important lesson along the way. In the end, it matters less that you can fight. What you fight for is the real test.

“I fight for Americans. I fight for you. I fight for Bill and Sue Nebe from Farmington Hills, Michigan, who lost their real estate investments in the bad housing market. Bill got a temporary job after he was out of work for seven months. Sue works three jobs to help pay the bills.”

John McCain speech covered tax cuts and job creations.

McCain told the RNC: “My tax cuts will create jobs. His tax increases will eliminate them. My health care plan will make it easier for more Americans to find and keep good health care insurance. His plan will force small businesses to cut jobs, reduce wages, and force families into a government run health care system where a bureaucrat stands between you and your doctor.”

Cindy McCain Speech RNC

LALATE has Cindy McCain’s RNC speech. Cindy McCain’s RNC Convention speech spoke of duty to serve, John McCain’s character, and leading by example.

Cindy McCain said the below tonight. Here are text excerpts.

“That duty is what brings me before you tonight. And it’s much larger and more important than just me or John or any of us: It’s the work of this great country calling us together - and there is no greater duty than that, no more essential task for our generation — right now.”

“It’s going to take someone of unusual strength and character - someone exactly like my husband - to lead us through the reefs and currents that lie ahead. I know John. You can trust his hand at the wheel.”

“Forgiveness is not just a personal issue: it’s why John led the effort to normalize relations with Vietnam retrieve the remains of our MIAs… to bring closure to both sides. That’s leadership - national leadership. And it’s leading by example.”

“If Americans want straight talk and the plain truth they should take a good close look at John McCain…a man tested and true…who’s never wavered in his devotion to our country…a man who’s served in Washington without ever becoming a Washington insider…who always speaks the truth no matter what the cost…a man of judgment and character…a loyal and loving and true husband and a magnificent father!”

John McCain Speech RNC

LALATE has John McCain’s RNC speech. John McCain’s speech tonight at the Republican National Convention talked about a non partisan future, war stories, and putting the nation first.

The John McCain speech text is below from tonight. Stay with LALATE tonight for the video up shortly.

________

I Don’t mind a good fight. For reasons known only to God, I’ve had quite a few tough ones in my life. But I learned an important lesson along the way. In the end, it matters less that you can fight. What you fight for is the real test.

I fight for Americans. I fight for you. I fight for Bill and Sue Nebe from Farmington Hills, Michigan, who lost their real estate investments in the bad housing market. Bill got a temporary job after he was out of work for seven months. Sue works three jobs to help pay the bills.

I fight for Jake and Toni Wimmer of Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Jake works on a loading dock; coaches Little League, and raises money for the mentally and physically disabled. Toni is a schoolteacher, working toward her Master’s Degree. They have two sons, the youngest, Luke, has been diagnosed with autism. Their lives should matter to the people they elect to office. They matter to me.

I fight for the family of Matthew Stanley of Wolfboro, New Hampshire, who died serving our country in Iraq. I wear his bracelet and think of him every day. I intend to honor their sacrifice by making sure the country their son loved so well and never returned to, remains safe from its enemies.

I fight to restore the pride and principles of our party. We were elected to change Washington, and we let Washington change us. We lost the trust of the American people when some Republicans gave in to the temptations of corruption. We lost their trust when rather than reform government, both parties made it bigger. We lost their trust when instead of freeing ourselves from a dangerous dependence on foreign oil, both parties and Senator Obama passed another corporate welfare bill for oil companies. We lost their trust, when we valued our power over our principles.

Sarah Palin Teleprompter

Posted on September 4th, 2008 in RNC Convention, Sarah Palin by lalate

Sarah Palin Teleprompter

Sarah Palin’s teleprompter broke last night, or did it? Conflicting reports about Sarah Palin’s teleprompter emerge today.

Here’s the Sarah Palin teleprompter debate details from two sides.

CBS News reports that website RedState claims the telepromoter “malfunctioned during her speech last night.” RedState claims “Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved”.

Then Dudge jumped in. Now Jonathan Martin at Politico says it’s untrue.

“Perhaps there were moments where it scrolled slightly past her exact point in the speech,” Martin wrote. “But I was sitting in the press section next to the stage, within easy eyeshot of the Teleprompter. I frequently looked up at the machine, and there was no serious malfunction. A top convention planner confirms this morning that there were no major problems.”
