Radiohead Concert: Downsview Park Stage Collapses
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Radiohead concert was cancelled at Downsview Park today after the stage collapsed. Downsview Park told news moments ago “Radiohead concert cancelled. There has been an incident, more details forthcoming.” The Park also told news that more “details are to come from Livenation shortly.”
But Alexandra Nihan tweeted images of the stage collapsing. She told news “Stage collapsed at DownsviewPark for the Radiohead concert”
CP24 is reporting that one person has died. Neither the venue nor Live Nation have confirmed that. “BREAKING: Police say one person is still trapped after a stage collapse at Downsview Park” wrote CP24. It added “One person has been pronounced dead after the stage collapse at Downsview Park.”
Other reports are conflicting. CBC is reporting that one person is in critical condition and three persons are hurt.
Mihan tells news “Stage collapsed at #downsview for #Radiohead So scary. So many ambulances.” She later added “definitely nothing to do with weather. So sad.”
