Rachel Ray speaks about the FHM photos in an ABC Nightline interview that will air tonight. Ray says of the 2003 FHM pictures:

“I think I was 35 at the time. And I thought about it for a while, and I said, ‘You know what? This magazine has as young as 17-, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don’t belong to any even remote club of theirs.’

“And I thought, ‘If I’m gutsy enough to do this, this is a good thing for everybody. This is the everywoman, here she is,’. And I did it, and it was the most scared I’ve ever been, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’d do it again tomorrow.”

“If you spend so much time thinking about the people who dislike what it is you’re doing, you’re doing a disservice to the people that employ you. I’m not employed by those people. I work for the people that want the type of food I write [about], the type of food we share with people.”

Ray says still can’t deal with how much money she makes. Some estimates put it in excess of $18 million.

“It makes my stomach flip. I’m not comfortable with it … because I don’t like to think of my life as that far away from me. People that make that kind of money — it’s just too foreign of an idea. Says Ray, “I’m not a chef. I haven’t created any new technique in the kitchen. I’m not a rocket scientist. I think I’m good at writing accessible, fun, and affordable meals for the average American family. That’s what I think I’m good at.”

YUM-O, FI-DO! Rachel Ray food is for the dogs, literally. Rachel Ray is making dog Food. The celebrity chef is launching a charity line of dog food called Nutrish. The recipes are based upon her special treats she served her pit bull, Isaboo.

How great is that!

The line is called Rachel Ray Nutrish pet foods. All proceeds go to Rachael’s Rescue that helps at risk animals..

“It seemed like not a lot of extra time to donate to something that could potentially raise millions of dollars for championing these little creatures that can’t speak for themselves,” Ray said.

Coming soon from Ray also - cat food.

DELISH! Rachel Ray TV does not allow for anorexia in the workplace claims a new lawsuit being filed by Aaron Ferguson.

As former accountant for the Rachel Ray tv show, Ferguson is seeking $1 million against the brodcaster of the Rachel Ray show (Ray herself is not named as a defendant) claiming he was the victim of eating disorder discrminiation in the workplace.

Reportedly “Aaron Ferguson said in papers filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan that he has suffered from anorexia for about six years. He claimed his supervisor repeatedly exhibited “hostile behavior” and made “vile,” discriminatory and hurtful comments. The comments included, “Anorexics are sick in the head,” and, “Anorexics should not be able to work,” his court papers say.”
