Prince wrote lyrics of the Fight Song which was released to local press after last weekend’s win over the Cowboys.

Is Prince’s new crush song Valentina about Salma Hayek? Yes, Valentina is about Salma Hayek, says tattlers.

LALATE told you yesterday that Prince’s box set (3 albums currently exclusively at Target) will premiere number 2 in the nation this week. Now reports that Valentina is a tribute to Hayek.

Lyrics in the song run:

In 2008 LALATE profiled Prince’s protege Bria Valente. Last night LALATE revealed Prince’s Bria Valente Elixir will drop at Target exclusively as part of a three box set along with Prince’s own LOtUSFLOW3R and MPLSoUND.

While LALATE has been profiling for you the sounds of the three albums, many are extremely curious and excited about Valente’s delivery.

Perhaps that is because of the incredible description Prince himself gave of Valente’s Elixir to the L.A. Times in fall 2008:

“We got sick of waiting for Sade to make a new album. This music is nasty, but it’s not dirty … She’s singing about her lover, who could be her partner for life.”

The Times said of Valente’s songs:
