Skylar Deleon DEATH Sentence! Skylar Deleon has been given a death sentence. Deleon, the Power Rangers extra, received a death penalty moments ago here by a Los Angeles jury.

Skylar Deleon is 29 and received a death sentence for the killings of Tom and Jackie Hawkes.

Deleon’s attorney had admitted Deleon’s guilt throughout the trial but had asked he be spared the death sentence.

Countless celebrity news sites reported Deleon as a Power Ranger, or as a Power Ranger star. As LALATE told you, neither was true. Deleon wasn’t a Power Ranger or a series cast member. Rather, Deleon was merely an extra on the Power Rangers.

Skylar Deleon of the Power Rangers was convicted Monday of the murder of Tom Hawks, 57, and his wife Jackie, 47, and of John Jarvi.

The Hawks were thrown from their yacht in 2004, their bodies never found. They were thrown from their boat during a test drive to show the boat, for sale, to Deleon.

Deleon was also convicted of John Jarvi’s death. His body was reportedly found by the road in Mexico a year earlier.

Deleon’s attorney said Deleon was guilty but should not get the death penalty. “He’s had a horrible, horrible life,” said the attorney, saying his fahter abused him and died of AIDS.

As broke earlier this summer, Skylar Deleon was not a Power Ranger; in fact, he wasn’t even a cast member. Rather he was a mere extra. Articles like today’s US Magazine entitled “Power Ranger Star” are inaccurate. Deleon was not a star in the tv series.
