LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – When “Brava!” debuts for Paulina Rubio today, the singer could reach her broadest market in over a decade. Paulina Rubio with Brava delivers to U.S. fans only her second bilingual album of her career. To achieve the correct sound, Rubio has teamed up with producers whose tracks for English language artists have dominated the charts in recent years.

For many U.S. fans, Paulina Rubio remains one of the best, if not the finest, Latin American singers of her generation. But Rubio’s proliferation into the English language market has not been as substantial as her contemporaries. Decades ago, industry executives would call it the “cross-over” market, when Latin pop singers sought to expand into England language releases.

For many U.S. fans, there has remained a lack of clarity why the hit singer delivered Border Girl in 2002 and then didn’t regularly release English language tracks thereafter. When Border Girl debuted, Rubio was number 11 on the Billboard 200. She would be appear across Los Angeles venues performing in English that fall her smash single Don’t Say Goodbye (Si Tú Te Vas). With appearances on Jay Leno and The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Rubio’s presence in the English market grew.

But now, after several years, Rubio is back with a stellar bilingual album. In fact, the marketing push for the album clearly depicts the focus of Rubio and her label. Virtually every news statement on Facebook is issued in both English and Spanish. “Brava! is out today worldwide (29 November en España)” she tells fans today. This week she told fans “Brava! … The wait is almost over” along with “Brava … Cada dia mas cerca.”

Rubio tells fans that the album depicts her maturity. “The launch of this album comes at a time where I have more peace and feel more mature.” She adds “The passing of a great pillar of my family and the birth of my first child have made me understand many things, especially the cycle of life and how important it is to celebrate it.”

RedOne (Lady Gaga) produced “Me Gustas Tanto” along with “All Around the World” and “Heat of the Night”. Almost making news is Me Voy, the anticipated track by Espinoza Paz. For more, click HERE.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Nuestra Navidad 2011 will reunite Paulina Rubio, Pitbull, Chino y Nacho next week. Paulina Rubio will hit the stage with Pitbull to follow-up their 2010 effort, while Rubio’s current hit single is the result of work with Nacho, from the Venezuelan due Chino & Nacho.

The Univision telecast will be hosted by Lili Estefan and Adamari Lopez. Also performing will be Gloria Estefan and Arthur Hanlon, confirms Rubio to news. In celebration of the broadcast, both Pitbull and Rubio are giving away some tickets to lucky fans. In a statement to fans and news today, Rubio says “Want to be a part of the audience for Nuestra Navidad 2011 that will air on Univision in December?.. Come see me at Nuestra Navidad next week with Pitbull, Chino y Nacho”.

Rubio is expected to perform her new hit single Me Gustas Tanto making news this month. The track is currently being played across U.S. markets on Latin contemporary and pop channels. The music video for the single debuted this week. The single is the first track of Brava!, her tenth studio album debuting November 15.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Paulina Rubio’s Me Gustas Tanto music video debuted today to fan and industry praise. The Paulina Rubio Me Gustas Tanto music video release was the result of bi-lingual marketing push by the Latin sensation that started last summer. Most recently, on October 13, Rubio debuted the first glimpses of the video.

In Me Gustas Tanto, Paulina Rubio embraces mainstream Latin pop but parlays it with a sound that is uniquely Rubio. Rubio, as compared to many of her contemporaries, has not lately produced as much music annually as some fans would demand. But in her latest endeavor, Pau’ hits a home run, but both embracing the sound that made her international sensational and embracing new musical challenges.

While not delivering a video narrative, the music video is expected to be massive sensation appropriate for U.S. dance floors. Ripe with visual elements keen for U.S. clubs, Me Gustas Tanto is a brilliantly produced track now supported with an excellent video.

The marketing push for the album started last summer. In August, Rubio first reported that her next single would be dance track. She also gave a release date, telling news “I want to be the first one to let you know my NEW single hits radio Sept 13th.”

At the time, she told news that her anticipation to release the track was overwhelming. “Ya terminamos el single (already finished the single). Estoy MUY emocionada de poder compartirlo pronto con todos (I am very excited to share the song with everyone soon).” On August 30, she debuted the track to international praise.

The same praise is being generated today. And yet, with nearly two thousand comments in just five hours, some fans are asking for upcoming U.S. concert tour dates from the Latin singer. “Cuando vas avenir a San Francisco Cali?” writes one fan moments ago.
