This is a presale offering currently underway with comments across blogs of purchasers having already got their tickets this morning. So buy buy buy. The normal sale starts next week on Monday at 10 AM EST.

Online chatter however has differing reports as to who can make a purchase, with some saying its restricted to American Express card holders and others claiming this is the reported pricing:

Will the Beatles’ Carnival of Light be released? Paul McCartney wants the Beatles’ Carnival of Light released, a 14 minute Beatles recording never heard publicly. McCartney has the master recorded in 1967.

Carnival of Light was performed once for an early electronic crowd in London. It incorporates parts of “Barcelona!” and “Are you all right?”. The recording was made at Abbey Road in which Paul tells the group “just wander round all of the stuff and bang it, shout, play it. It doesn’t need to make any sense.”

“I like it because it’s The Beatles free, going off piste,” McCartney told the BBC this weekend. He wants it released, tried for its release on “Anthology” (vetoed by band members), and would still need permission from Ringo Starr and the widows of Lennon and George Harrison for a new 2009 release.

A long lost Beatles tape recording will be auctioned off next Tuesday. The Beatles tape features members of the Beatles talking, taping a recording of “I’ll Follow the Sun”, and more.

Cameo Auctioneers will auction off the the reel-to-reel tape. The Beatles tape was made in 1964 and found just recently in an attic. The tape features John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking and recording “I’ll Follow the Sun” and parts of “I Feel Fine” and “Don’t Put Me Down Like This”.
