Kenya Moore Crying Cliffhanger: Who Died on RHOA? EXCLUSIVE

Kenya Moore Crying Cliffhanger: Who Died on RHOA? EXCLUSIVE

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – A Kenya Moore crying cliffhanger left fans asking did Kenya’s dog “Velvet the Dog” die, did Kenya’ fake baby die, did her mom Patricia Moore pass away, or did her grandmother Doris Grant die? LALATE can report that, at the time the scene was filmed, Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore was approximately 58 years old. Velvet the Dog is not dead. Velvet (aka Kenya) was tweeting during the crying cliffhanger last Sunday.  Since that scene aired, Tamar Braxton has been going in on Kenya Moore, Kenya’s 911 tape against Porsha Williams was released, and more details about the RHOA Reunion Fight 2014 surfaced. Moore meantime is still dating her African Prince, first revealed exclusively on LALATE as D’Banj.

Kenya Moore has previously told news that she was raised by Doris, her father Ronald Grant’s mother. Doris’ daughter Lori, Kenya’s aunt, who named Kenya as a baby, appears in the scene. So who “died”, or is Kenya crying about a fake baby? For now it’s not Velvet, and does not appear to be either Patricia nor Doris.

Kenya Moore is unlikely to have said that she would want to “protect her”, as she cries in the scene to her aunt. Kenya has been clear this season that she has no relationship with her mother even though she wishes she could.

LALATE can report that in 1993 Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore granted a news interview to discuss Kenya’s wining of the Miss USA competition and her entrance into the Miss Universe. Whether or not Patricia’s claims were true at the time, Kenya’s mother claimed that “the door for communication has been and always will remain open [with Kenya]…I’m praying for her. I wish her all the luck and success in the world.”

Kenya however vehemently disputed the same. Kenya from Westwood, CA said in 1993 “She would treat me like I was invisible… I can honestly say I don’t love her. I don’t even know her.”

The article claimed that Patricia got pregnant with Kenya when Patricia and Ronald were sixteen years old. Patricia then asked Ronald if he would let her put the baby up for adoption. Ronald refused. And Ronald’s mother Doris Grant agreed to raise Kenya Moore.

At the time, Kenya had yet to be named. Patricia’s parents sent her to stay with her sister Lori Moore at Central Michigan University. Thereafter, Lori eventually gave Kenya her name, for the country, because “she was dark and beautiful.”

This season, Kenya has told news “I acknowledge I have a pattern of falling for men who are emotionally unavailable, physically unavailable in terms of distance, or categorically unavailable with respect to time or where they are in life.” Kenya added “Perhaps my pattern is that I unconsciously seek rejection or failure with these men, which sadly mimics my mother’s relationship, Kenya stated while she keeping her head up for a bright future… With that said, I will continue to work on myself so that I can be the best woman, friend, companion, and mother to my future children.”

Kenya further tells news “Since birth, my mother made the decision at age 16 to pretend she never had me. She has never spoken to me … Even if present in the same room with other people and family, she pretends that I simply don’t exist. She pretends I’m invisible.”

Kenya Moore Crying: Mother Patricia Moore, Velvet the Dog, or Doll Died?

Posted: March 31st, 2014 in Doris Grant, Kenya Moore, Lori Moore, Patricia Moore, Ronald Grant, Velvet the Dog by LALATE

Kenya Moore Crying: Who Died, Mother Patricia Moore, Velvet the Dog, Doll exclusive

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Why is Kenya Moore is crying, who died? Kenya Moore is crying because someone died, RHOA revealed last night. Did Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore die, did Ronald Grant’s mother Doris Grant die, did Velvet the Dog die, or did that baby doll “die”? RHOA knows how to move a cliffhanger, and last night producers pushed viewers’ search buttons.

Kenya Moore is crying because someone died and Kenya was not there to protect her. Kenya’s aunt says “you were there with her”. Kenya cries “I wasn’t there to protect her”. But Kenya’s aunt says “she is not coming back Kenya.” Who is not coming back, who was Kenya not protecting? It remains unclear if Doris Grant, Ronald Grant’s mother, is the subject of the scene.

Viewers took to social media for answers last night. And they didn’t get them. But they told Bravo loud and clear that they hope that Kenya is not crying about a silly doll. “Please tell me @kenyamoore is not crying over her plastic baby dying … Her dog must have ate it. Smh”, wrote one fan. Another added “I know that better not be that d–mn doll @KenyaMoore is crying about on the preview”. Another fumed “What happened? Why is Kenya Moore crying? Did she leave that d–mn doll in a cab?”

Last night, RHOA implied that Kenya Moore’s doll was a boy, not a girl. But then in another exchange, Bravo appeared to make the doll seem to be a girl. Kenya said she would not name the baby “Apollo” because he would land in prison. And she would not name the doll “NeNe” because the baby would have no hair, and have to wear wigs to Mexico, and be called by Marlo to get her “Donald Trump hair done”.

Others were left guessing if Velvet the Dog died. “I need to know why Kenya Moore was crying. I really hope nothing happened to Velvet because I will cry.”

First, it appears that Velvet the Dog has not died. Kenya’s twitter handle for Velvet was active last night with Velvet the Dog (aka Kenya) tweeting throughout the episode. The profile caption claims Velvet is alive. “I’m the dog of the Queen B KenyaMoore/ I’m just a cute dog living in a doggy dog world!” Moore also told viewers last night that Velvet is only five years old. Second, the doll is appears to not be the reason was Kenya was crying. Her aunt would never say of a doll “she is not coming back Kenya.”

Third, it is unlikely that Kenya Moore is talking about her mother Patricia Moore. Kenya even this year still expressed her non-existing relationship with her mother. So Kenya’s remark “I wasn’t there to protect her” appears out of context for Kenya.

LALATE can report that it is unlikely to be the doll, the dog, or the mother. So what could be left? LALATE anticipates that Kenya could reveal that a family member of her aunt’s or father Ronald Grant has died. Or is a failed pregnancy set to be revealed as well?

Kenya Moore Father Ronald Grant, Mother Patricia Moore Tackle Past

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Tonight Kenya Moore and father Ronald Grant tackle Kenya’s past with mother Patricia Moore. But LALATE can report that some of the claims that Bravo puts forward in today’s episode conflict with claims by Patricia Moore. In 1992, Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore granted a news interview in which she claimed that the door of communication between her and Kenya remained open. Tonight Bravo presents a slightly different history between Kenya and her mother.

Kenya Moore’s father Ronald Grant visits Kenya in Atlanta on tonight’s RHOA episode. LALATE previously exclusively reported that Moore, a longtime resident of the San Fernando Valley, quietly sold her Los Angeles home prior to the filming of this season’s episode. Her broker was with Mauricio Umansky’s company.

Tonight, Moore tells her father that she is happy moving to Atlanta. But Ronald Grant offers his hilarious opinions about everything from hardwood floors to moldings. And the visit doesn’t start off well either. “You look like you have your mama’s feet man”, he tells Kenya. “They look like they got ash feet. Look at those ugly things. Look at those corns though. Those are corns. They can be corns that quick.” Dad Ronald tells Kenya Moore that she allegedly has ashy feet, which Moore blames on driving her car.

He adds “Are you planning on staying in this part of town. I think nice and all that stuff is a relative term”, Ronald adds. Bravo says of tonight’s episode “Kenya wants to discuss her mother with her dad but her dad doesn’t want to go down that road.”

LALATE can report that in 1993 Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore granted a news interview to discuss Kenya’s wining of the Miss USA competition and her entrance into the Miss Universe. Kenya, then living in a Westwood apartment, told news said that Patricia “said she just wanted to congratulate me.” Kenya added “But I didn’t want to talk to her. I’m a very forgiving person. But I’ll only forgive her if she asks for my forgiveness.”

Kenya Moore Father Ronald Grant Addresses Mother Patricia Moore

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Kenya Moore’s father Ronald Grant opens up about Kenya Moore’s mother Patricia Moore. Who is Kenya Moore’s mother, who gave the RHOA star her name “Kenya”, what happened to Kenya Moore as a baby, who raised the RHOA star, and what happened between Kenya’s father and her mother? LALATE can report that, while RHOA will discuss these and more subjects next Sunday, many of the details were covered in 1993. At the time, Kenya Moore had won the Miss USA competition and was heading into the Miss Universe competition. News reporters were seeking to learn facets about her birth, her upbringing, and her relationship with her mother.

Next Sunday, Ronald Grant from Texas is all ready for Kenya and her hardwood floors. “Whose taste is this? I don’t have to like them. Do you like hardwood floors? I hate them!” He then says “you sound like a real estate agent. So tell me about this chain rail. Whose idea was this?” Kenya tell RHOA viewers “My mom and dad had me in the 1970s. To have a child out of wedlock at the time was a huge stigma, especially in the black community.”

Ronald says that Patricia before Kenya’s birth “swore a vow. You tell nobody. I tell nobody.” Ronald Grant says he told Patricia Moore “how in the world do you think that that is going to work?” He added “I said Amen, I am not going to have no part of that.”

Despite what is shown on RHOA next Sunday, LALATE can report that details about Ronald Grant, Patricia Moore and Kenya Moore were covered extensively during a 1993 interview between the Moores, Grants, and other family members.

PEOPLE in interviewing family members claimed that Ronald Grant and Patricia Moore were both 16 years old at the time that Kenya was born. Patricia’s father owned a construction company. Patricia’s mother owned a clothing store, claimed PEOPLE. After Patricia became pregnant, her parents were allegedly unhappy and sent her to live with her sister Lori Moore at Central Michigan University.

According to the article, Patricia then asked Ronald permission to give the unnamed child up for adoption. Ronald refused and had his mother Doris Grant agree to raise the child. According to the article, Patricia refused to name the child; Lori allegedly gave the RHOA star her name “Kenya” in reference to the country because “she was dark and beautiful.”

In the article, Patricia told news that she allegedly called Kenya after the Miss USA win and before the Miss Universe competition to offer support. “I’m praying for her,” Patricia claimed to have told news at the time.
