Jennifer Lopez Oscar Dress 2012 Was Illusion claims Stylist

Vin Diesel

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Did Jennifer Lopez’s Oscar dress 2012 result in a slip or wardrobe malfunction? Absolutely not, says Jennifer Lopez’ stylist. Jennifer Lopez did not reveal what other news reports claimed slipped out during her Oscars 2012 appearance. Rather, Lopez’ dress was designed to create that illusion.

Jennifer Lopez’s dress (photo HERE) was a Zuhair Murad gown. Lopez’s stylist Mariel Haenn tells news that reports about a slip are simply erroneous. Haenn claims that a slip wouldn’t be possible because of the dress’ construction, its underlay design, and its safety measures in structure. Moreover, Haen tells news that what might have appeared to be a slip, or dubbed “sheer” in other news reports, is all the result of a style illusion.

Haen tells news that “The dress fit perfectly to her every inch. There were cups built in and there’s no chance that there were any, how do you say, slips. “

Haenn added “While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke’s on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what’s next.”

Ryan Seacrest, Sacha Baron Cohen Dictator Oscars Spill Prompts Exit

Ryan Seacrest, Sacha Baron Cohen Dictator Oscars Spill Prompts Pancake Breakfast

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator spilled faux ashes on Ryan Seacrest (video below) during the 2012 Oscars Red Carpet arrivals. Sacha Baron Cohen spilled faked Kim Jong-il ashes on Ryan Seacrest as The Dictator approached the E! Entertainment interviewer. The ashes, in truth, were pancake mix.

Cohen arrived at the Oscars with his female security force from the Republic of Wadiya. Initially the Dictator was banned from the Oscars. The Dictator had said “While I applaud the Academy for taking away my right to free speech, I warn you that if you do not lift your sanctions and give me my tickets back by 12 p.m. on Sunday, you will face unimaginable consequences.”

But then Oscars producer Brian Grazer told “Extra” “We’re thrilled to have him and he’ll be on the red carpet, I guess, dressed as the Dictator”. In the end, Grazer’s security escorted Cohen out of the Oscars for spilling “ashes” on the red carpet.

Cohen first said “I love it here because it gave me an opportunity to bring my dear friend and tennis partner, Kim Jong-il.” But moments later he “accidentally” spilled the “ashes” on Seacrest. “Now when people ask what you’re wearing, you will say Kim Jong-il!”

Seacrest later told fans “A lot of people hitting up after parties tonight… me? I’m hosting a pancake breakfast tomorrow … My mom always told me to pack two jackets for red carpets, always wondered why. Now I know.”

Hattie McDaniel Mo’Nique Oscar Dress!

Hattie McDaniel Mo'Nique Oscar Dress

Hattie McDaniel was remembered by Mo’Nique in her Oscar dress and speech. Hattie McDaniel won the Oscar for Gone with the Wind.

She was the first African-American in 1940 to be nominated and win an Oscar for that memorable character “Mammy”.

Backstage, after winning for Precious, Mo’Nique told press: “The reason why I have on this royal blue dress is because it’s the color that Hattie McDaniel wore in 1940 when she accepted her Oscar.

“The reason why I have this gardenia in my hair, it is the flower that Hattie McDaniel wore when she accepted her Oscar. So for you, Miss Hattie McDaniel, I feel you all over me.”

Farrah Fawcett Left out of Oscar Memorial!

Farrah Fawcett Left out of Oscar Memorial

Farrah Fawcett was left out of the Oscar memorial on purpose. Farrah Fawcett was skipped in the Oscar memorial not by accident confirms the Academy Awards Monday.

Leslie Unger, spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, says to E!:

“I would not say that it was an oversight. No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can’t be.”

Can’t be? Unger tells E!:

“In any given year there will always be some people that other people think should have been included and that there’s more justification for one person versus another. It is impossible to include everybody.”

Who Won Oscars?

Posted: March 8th, 2010 in Oscars by LALATE

Who Won Oscars

Who won Oscars? Who won Best Pictures? The people who won Oscars last night were the same nominees that critics and fans expected to win. There were few, if any, surprises last night.

Overall, Martin and Baldwin were great, but the show was lackluster. The 2010 Oscar telecast lacked anything fascinating during its telecast. And come Monday morning, nothing in the show is viral material. In the field of award programs, the Oscars continue to remain stale, simple, and not worthy of more than 1 hour of a person’s viewing time. After the red carpet action and a few awards, it’s painful to watch this show more than an hour.

And the pre show (done by the Academy) was hideously awful. Kathy Ireland sounded like she was doing a car show. Her script – which she read – to introduce Zac Efron sounded like she was introducing the new Nissan Z, not introducing Zac.
