But new Niall-Demi dating reports surfaced after the VMAs. E! reports news that Niall and Demi allegedly went on an “intimate date” at the Pink Taco after the VMAs. Reportedly no entourage was present with the two singers.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Spice Girls and One Direction will perform in the Olympics Closing Ceremony 2012. But the Olympics lineup is much longer than that, reports British news today. Queen with Brian May, Jessie J, Madness, Pet Shop Boys and Russell Brand will reportedly appear during the performance. Also purportedly taking the stage will be The Who, George Michael and Take That. Spotted rehearsing has been Taio Cruz, Tinie Tempah, Suggs of Madness, and Annie Lennox. But still uncertain is the Rolling Stones.

The list of performers taking the stage has not been announced by organizers to news. But a series of performers have been reported by U.S. and British news, while others have been spotted rehearsing. Posh Spice, Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice and Scary Spice will emerge during the show, entering the stadium atop modified London cabs.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Niall Horan gave President Barack Obama an apology Thursday after an unlikely barbeque accident. Niall Horan was posing for One Direction fans alongside a life-sized figure of Obama. But after the party became a bit too festive, fake Obama’s arm was broken. Niall Horan shared the picture with news this week. But he also tweeted the real Obama directly to apology for the error.

On Tuesday in London, Horan told fans that the weather was perfect to celebrate summer, and the President. “Good morning! I’ve looked out the window and decided I’m gonna have a bbq today.” But neighbors told the Sun news that the festivities went into the night.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – One Direction singer Harry Styles is not dead. The One Direction star battled a fake crash report in recent weeks, but tonight the fabricated 2012 death story is resurfacing yet again. One Direction’s Harry hasn’t died, he wasn’t in a car crash, and the culprit behind the fabricated tale has used the story previously against other celebrities.

One Direction Harry Styles is battling the same death report that has been previously used against everyone from David Guetta to Diddy. The latest fake death claim is the result of Global Associated / Media Fetcher.

The fabricated crash story claims that One Direction’s Harry was in a fatal collision on Route 80 tonight between Morristown and Roswell. The false story claims that “Harry Styles flipped vehicle Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Harry Styles lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.”

If the false story sounds familiar, it should. The same fabricated claim angered fans of David Guetta in 2011, Don Omar fans in 2012, and most recently even Celine Dion fans. It remains unclear why people write fake celebrity death stories in the first place. The location is always listed as being on “Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell”. The work of fiction always claims that the DJ or singer “lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle”. The picture, the story, and the date (which dynamically updates daily) are all the same. Even the car in the “crash” picture doesn’t look an auto sold in the last twenty years.

In recent months, music celebrities are most often targeted with death stories concerning Route 80. The fake Route 80 story uses the same photo, of a car not sold this century, flipped over.

Lil Wayne is not dead, but Global still lists the rapper dead today from more than three different causes – a BMW crash, a plane crash, even a jet ski crazy. Besides Harry and Celine, the same false report has been used previously against everyone from Snoop Dogg to Chuck Norris, even against actor Tom Green. Harry isn’t dead, nor is Celine or David Guetta.

The Harry Styles confusion stemmed from someone using a leading website’s template, photo shopping in a fake death report, and thereafter sending the message via Twitpic. Fans are not pleased by the confusion.

Harry Styles is perhaps the first One Direction member to battle a death report this year. But Styles is battling a death report unlike anything in recent memory. The report surfaced online today via a fake twitpic. The report falsely claims to originate from Australia.

Harry Styles is alive, Lil Wayne is doing well, and David Guetta hasn’t crashed on Route 80 on in Zermatt today.
