Miley Cyrus and Steve Rushton are not dating. Miley Cyrus Steve Rushton (Son of Dork) dating reports first hit this week in Britian’s Sun.

They’re wrong.

The report had claimed:

“Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney. Miley couldn’t wait for him to move. He first met her on the set of the Hannah Montana film after he was asked to play lead guitar for her band.

“They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart they have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is still young but she is smitten with him. They are very much in love.”

Meantime, Cyrus came clean about reports she is back dating Nick Jonas, telling press today she has only “reconnected” with Jonas.

“Reconnected”?  NILEY reconnection!

A new report says that Nick Jonas has been “trying to get back” with Cyrus. The report, which claims Cyrus has split from longtime boyfriend Justin Gaston, says Jonas has been wanting to reunite with Cyrus. NILEY alert!

“She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing. She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”

LALATE readers have always loved Niley, most wishing Niley would return for 2009. Darn you Justin Gaston! The two teens got into Nick super sweet ‘Stang leaving lunch in Los Angeles this weekend. When they exit the restaurant together, they look so, so good together.

Niley will reunite in the studio for “Pass it On”. A tattler says of the track that it’s a “Disney’s version of ‘We Are the World.’ It’s about kindness and passing it on.”

The appearance together is great publicity for Cyrus whose film is number 1 at the boxoffice, the second biggest easter opening ever, at over $35 million.
