T-Boz, Nicki Minaj Feud Scrubs American Idol

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The T-Boz Nicki Minaj feud took a new turn today after the TLC singer said Minaj can’t sing and should not be judging American Idol. Minaj sings on many of her tracks which are heating up the charts. But that doesn’t change T-Boz’s opinion of her.

T-Boz tells news that she gives support to Nicki for making money. But she says that she would never compete on Idol if her judge was Minaj. Even worse, the TLC signers says she would never watch the show with Minaj as its judge.

T-Boz’s comments appear in the current Kontrol Magazine. “How the he-l is she gon’ tell me what I should be doing when her a– can’t even sing? Why is she there? Now they’ve got rappers that don’t even sing judging. So, this is totally based off of popularity I guess.” She also told news “I mean, to each their own. Get your money, honey. All I’m saying is, I will never watch [your] shows again.”

The TLC singer doesn’t let up. She also added “I don’t respect half [of] the people I’ve seen lately … Just because you’re on TV gyrating and b–ing and s–king p—s, it’s not talent, honey. Maybe in the p–n industry, but over here, we entertain.”

Da Brat, Nicki Minaj Feud Confusion about Mariah Carey Prompts Apology

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Da Brat, Nicki Minaj feud confusion about Mariah Carey prompted the YMCM rapper’s apology today. Da Brat didn’t feud with Nicki Minaj; a purported Da Brad tweet disrespecting Minaj wasn’t written by her. But after Minaj initially fumed, she later settled down and issued an apology to Da Brat.

The feud confusion started after a fake tweet was credited to Da Brat today reading “I already had to —t one — over the head with a bottle and I will do it again.” The fake tweet added “it’s not game and I’m not a joke.”

Minaj grew furious. The bottle reference prompted the rapper to reply to Da Brat as “Sir”. Minaj wrote “Sir, the struggle for you to even afford that bottle is why the barb r now cackling down.”

Minaj was not done. “I would just advise everyone who isn’t there to witness what’s actually go on to … ” Brat (Shawntae Harris) finally jumped in. She told news that she didn’t write that tweet wrongly credited to her account. “Nicki nor Mariah has ever respected me so I would not disrespect either of them.”

The clarification for Minaj prompted her quick apology. Minaj wrote “oops, sorry brat… is real in the field. Please accept my apology.”

Nicki Minaj Mitt Romney Mercy Lyrics Prompt Lil Wayne Song Debate

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Nicki Minaj lyrics about Mitt Romney dominate Mercy, the new song off Lil Wayne’s mixtape Dedication 4. But is Nick Minaj endorsing Mitt Romney in the new song? While political analysts note that Minaj has previously tweeted anti-Obama health care remarks, fans are debating whether the Mercy lyrics actually have any significance to the singer, whatsoever. And while Minaj’s starship hasn’t landed in the parking lot of any political convention this week, Mercy is dominated political debate today.

The lyrics at issue appear on the fifth rap track of Dedication Four. On Mercy, Minaj raps “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b–hes are — up the economy.” But while news analysts are asserting that the lyrics are an endorsement for Romney, many contend the lyrics aren’t intended to do that at all.

NBC reports that Minaj tweeted anti Barack Obama messages last year over the Yvette Wilson death. Wilson, star of Moesha and The Parkers, contributed large sums of money in taxes for her sitcom roles. But Wilson’s family, according to NBC, struggled to raise money for Wilson’s medical expenses before her death from cervical cancer.

This purportedly infuriated Minaj. She tweeted at the time that, when Wilson was “bringing home the bacon” the U.S. government “was probably taking millions” in taxes. But as Wilson grew ill, Minaj wrote “#Nowheretobefound” she wrote. Minaj tweeted to the President at the time “Why should a poor person struggle to pay for MEDS sir” She later added “Just give FREE health care to all.”

While NBC claims the lyrics are pro-Romney, others are in disagreement. On RapDose which released the track, many fan comments believe the lyrics don’t endorse Romney. “She’s mocking republicans and Mitt Romney, not claiming to be one in support of him.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Young Money Summer Jam 2012 cancellation erupted after Peter Rosenberg
comments about Nicki Minaj’s “Starships” song. Lil Wayne cancelled Nicki Minaj and Young Money in an “executive decision”; the cancellation was the result of comments by Hot 97 Morning Show host Peter Rosenberg about Minaj’s song “Starships”.

What did Peter Rosenberg say about Nicki Minaj? Rosenberg told the crowd “I know there’s some chicks here waiting to sing ‘Starships’ later, I’m not talking to y’all right now. F— that b–h–. I’m here to talk about real hip-hop s–”, reports MTV. Lil Wayne was unhappy that Rosenberg called Starships not “real hip-hop”.

Lil Wayne just had arrived in NYC via private jet when the comments aired. MTV reports that Lil Wayne issued an emergency executive decision to cancel Nicki from the performance. Lil Wayne took to Facebook to tell news “Young Money ain’t doing summer jam.”

Before the remarks, Minaj was excited to perform. She told news “I really hope you’re there to witness it.” But after the remarks and order by Lil Wayne, Nicki told news “Wow. U n–z just f—d up history. But the President has spoken.” She later added that the lineup was to be great but “we won’t b disrespected”.

Minaj retweeted several angry comments by a fan. “How you book @NICKIMINAJ as your headliner and then allow their DJs to disrespect”? Another added “She’s on a world tour but took time to do your festival and you disrespect her? … Wayne made the right decision pulling @NICKIMINAJ out of the show.” And Nicki called Rosenberg a “radio personality with NO personality”.

Nicki later told news that she follows Lil Wayne’s instructions. “I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against Wayne’s word. What he says, goes.”

Li Kim, Nicki Minaj Feud Pulls Rocsi into Mix

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj feud took a new form after Rocsi got drawn into the mix. Lil Kim’s appearance on 106 & Park (video below) turned into a Twitter feud between her and Rocsi because of comments raised during the live interview.

The lil love between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj has been well documented by news for months. But when Kim appeared on 106 & Park, host Rocsi thought she could pull something out of Lil Kim that hadn’t already been said. In the end, Rocso got only insults from Lil Kim after the telecast. The singer took to Twitter to call the news interview “disrespectful” and in her words “unappropriate”.

During Friday’s interview, Rocsi asked about the “elephant in the room”. When Kim offered no comment, Rocsi continued to push the question. “Kim, with much respect due to you and your craft and I’m not trying to not say what the fans don’t want to hear but it’s being an elephant in the room and it’s being spit out there. It’s the only reason why I address it, but I respect your game if you say you don’t want to talk about it but I don’t want to see you talking about it somewhere else.”

Kim fired back. “At the end of the day, this is about Kim right now. We gave you that movie already, you know what I’m saying’. We movin’ on to a whole ‘nother direction and if it come back that way, then we give ya’ll another movie. But right now we moving into another direction. ‘Bout to drop some new singles for Queen Bee and Brooklyn.”

Y’all really turnt it up & represented,” she tweeted. “Even when Rocsi tried to get disrespectful towards the end & ask an unappropriate irrelevant question on the day we are supposed to be celebrating my man, notorious B.I.G’s accomplishments.”
