Announced: Nick Lachey will be the host of High School Musical: Summer Session. The ABC reality series first covered on LALATE NEWS has been in casting mode, as reported to you in recent weeks here on LALATE, looking for contestants between the ages of 16 and 22. Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are possibly going back to reality tv, in different shows on different networks.

Nick is joining MTV for an updated version of “Fame” in which he goes back to his alma mater, the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Meantime Jess is going a bit country. Simpson is rumored to be in talks to appear on CMT following her workings on an upcoming country album.
