LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Nathan Campbell, the Venice Beach Boardwalk car crash driver, was a transient at the time of the deadly attack Saturday. Nathan Campbell has been charged in the Venice Beach Boardwalk crash on Ocean Front Walk that left Alice Gruppioni dead and eleven injured. Alice Gruppioni was on her honeymoon from Italy and had been married just two weeks ago.
No mugshot photo of Nathan Campbell has yet to be released to news. But videos and photos of Nathan Campbell behind the wheel of a Dodge have surfaced online. In a statement released Sunday, Alice Gruppioni’s husband on his Facebook page commented about the tragic loss. Christian wrote “We were happy holding hands. Then, everything changed.” Her father Valerio Gruppioni also mourned her daughter’s posing today. Los Angeles city councilman Mike Bonin is already calling for more barriers to be implemented. Of the eleven persons injured, five have been released. Two remain in serious condition.
