Walsh and May are now the only beach volleyball team, male or female, to ever win consecutive gold medals in Olympic history.

Again, here were those numbers.

1. 108th consecutive match victory
2. 19th consecutive title
3. Broken the 89 straight match wins and 15 straight tournaments records (they last set before Athens).
4. Walsh’s 100th career win, the youngest to ever achieve that
5. With May at 103 and Walsh at 100, they join Karch Kiraly, Sinjin Smith, Randy Stoklos and Kent Steffes as the only to ever achieve that honor!
