And the Oscar COMES from, Miley Cyrus! Miley Cyrus will present at the 2010 Oscars, confirms the Academy Awards.

Miley Cyrus is one of a batch of young Hollywood film stars to join the upcoming Oscars telecast announced Monday.

Miley will join fellow Disney star Zac Efron along with Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as among the show’s presenters.

The telecast is March 7.

In recent years, the Oscars has struggled with a slower pace, more adult demographic compared to comparable industry shows for the Grammys and the AMAs, and absence of a contemporary younger vibe. Oscar organizers hope Cyrus and Co will help inject youth into the tuxedo and gown filled evening.

But who has the most stylin’ ink in Hollywood today? That honor perhaps goes to Rihanna. While LALATE has reported now over a year on Rihanna’s ink, the 2009 November AMA awards appeared to show some ink updates for the hit maker.

To date Rihanna has ink on neck, the ear, the forearm, the shoulder, the leg / foot, wrist, and more.

In April 2008, LALATE first profiled rear shoulders tattoos on Rihanna and Chris Brown. While initially Chris and Rihanna’s neck tattoos were similar, Rihanna’s tattoo on the back moved progressively lower, no longer matching Chris’ ink.

Happy Birthday Miley Cyrus! Miley Cyrus turns 17. Cyrus’ 17th Birthday party with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was held last week.

But will Miley have another party today? Cyrus celebrated last week at the Canal Room in New York with a surprise performance by Broadway’s Rock of Ages. The theme of the party was 80s, a theme Cyrus has used for previous birthdays.

And the Cyrus birthday cake? The cake duties were filled (and topped) by Buddy Valastro of TLC’s Cake Boss, reports PEOPLE.

A Miley Cyrus Tour Bus crash has occurred in Virginia. Miley Cyrus was NOT on the bus that crashed. The Cyrus Tour Bus has left one dead, several persons injured.

Local press are reporting the latest.

As many as 9 people were injured, not of the injuries significant, reports WTVR.com. Miley Cyrus and her tour were in a 4 vehicle caravan. One of the buses overturned, the driver found dead. Press do not know if the driver was died prompting the bus to flip or died because of the crash. Another person on that bus is being treated.

Cyrus was not on the bus that flipped and is not injured.

Surprise, it’s Sunday and Miley Cyrus false dead rumors are back. Miley Cyrus is not dead. But Cyrus dead rumors are spreading once again.

As LALATE has reported through 2009 extensively, Miley Cyrus and other fake celebrity death stories most often manifest themselves on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm PST. You can almost set your alarm clock and expect them to occur. And yet, despite the rise of other celebrities in the fake stories, Miley Cyrus remains the most reoccurring celebrity to fall a victim to false death stories. After that, the number 2 slot might rest with Lil Wayne.

In fall 2009, LALATE reported the departure of these death stories in two regards - 1) the day of the week 2) the type of celebrity.
