Leslie Oudin and John Oudin have been sitting next to each other the last few weeks of photographs as Melanie has played. But as John’s allegations grow, so does his apparent seating distance from Leslie.

The Oudin’s divorce was filed by John in July 2008, and he claimed at that time “[Leslie] was unfaithful during marriage”.

But between the June photo at which John and Leslie sit next to each other and the second / third photos in August when John sits behind his ex wife, John filed an affidavit August 10, 2009 which specifically claims Leslie had an affair with Melanie’s coach, Brian de Villiers.

“I didn’t initial [sic] take any action regarding my early suspicions because I didn’t want to believe my wife was having an affair with my daughter’s tennis coach … On December 29, 2007, I confronted my wife about whether she was having an affair with Brian de Villiers. I confronted Brian de Villiers separately. My wife and Brian de Villiers both admitted to me they were having an affair.”

John even says Melanie Oudin suspected the affair:

“Both [Melanie and her twin sister, Katherine] asked me point blank if I thought Mom was having an affair with Brian. When I asked why they had suspicions, Melanie told on one occasion she woke up at 1:00 a.m. in her hotel room and Leslie was not there. She called Brian’s cell phone and connected with her.”

Melanie Oudin has issued the following response:

“The family has respectfully declined comment [on the divorce and the allegations] and does not want to discuss private matters.”

Melanie Oudin’s father John Oudin claimed wife Leslie Oudin had an affair with coach Brian de Villiers. Leslie Oudin’s and Brian de Villiers allegations have thrown tennis’ rising teen sensation in the middle of a divorce proceeding that sounds less like a game of tennis and more like an episode of a bad Soap Opera.

The divorce was filed by John Oudin on July 24, 2008 from wife Leslie. But in an initial complaint, responded to by Leslie with denials, John Oudin claims Leslie had an affair with her daughter Melanie Oudin’s tennis coach – Brain de Villiers.

The initial allegation by Oudin in 2008 claimed “[Leslie] was unfaithful during marriage.” But just weeks ago, John Oudin shot back with the following affidavit:

“I didn’t initial [sic] take any action regarding my early suspicions because I didn’t want to believe my wife was having an affair with my daughter’s tennis coach … On December 29, 2007, I confronted my wife about whether she was having an affair with Brian de Villiers. Melanie Oudin has reportedly not commented:

“The family has respectfully declined comment [on the divorce and the allegations] and does not want to discuss private matters.”

Melanie Oudin and boyfriend Austin Smith have been dating since January. Melanie Oudin’s Austin Smith talks about those Believe shoes and dating Melanie in a new interview this week.

Next up Oudin meets in the Quarterfinales the most winning female on the tour, 19 year old Caroline Wozniacki, seeded 9 out of Denmark.

Austin met Melanie while the two were training at the Racquet Club of the South in Atlanta. Austin Smith explains in a new interview that Melanie’s BELIEF on the shoe was his idea but inspired by a coach’s shirt:

“She didn’t want to put her name. and I had an old coach who used to always wear shirts that had ‘believe’ on them so I suggested that. Because her belief in herself is so strong and so important to her doing so well.”

Michelle Oudin after her win this weekend told press she knows the impact her and Caroline’s match will bring:

But unlike captivating teens like Cyurs or Lovato, Oudin doesn’t twitter and rarely follows press. Oudin recently told fans:

I do not have a Twitter page…I recently heard about it, so I don’t know much about it at all.

She adds:

I’m one of those people who doesn’t look at a lot of the newspapers, or anyone talking about how American tennis hasn’t been doing well lately. There’s a little bit a pressure because hopefully I’ll be the next upcoming American, but I just go in there and play my game. I’m just hoping to do well for them.
