NEW YORK (LALATE) – Brahim Rachiki (photos below) is Madonna’s new boyfriend. Brahim Rachiki and Madonna have been dating in New York, claims local news, after Madonna’s public split with Jesus Luz earlier this year.

In March, 2009 a report claimed Luz was too friendly with Luciana Costa at a party in Rio causing Madonna to dump Jesus. The Daily Star of England wrote at the time “Her decision to end the relationship was finally made after Luciana and Jesus spent a romantic weekend together in Brazil.”

What is perhaps another reason? Claims an insider “[Madonna] is growing bored of the relationship and her family comes first. He would ruin her chances of adopting again. And the pictures of him with Luciana made her realise that he’ll be better suited to somebody his own age.”

In February, both British and U.S. news confirmed the split. The couple’s relationship was first reported on LALATE in December 2008. But in February this year tattlers claimed that the two couldn’t find common interests. The split was reportedly not amiable between the 51 and 28 year olds.

Says a Chicago Sun Times’ source: “It was not only totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split” “‘How it even lasted a year seems a miracle to a lot of people. They are in different places in their lives. They both benefited but it is pretty much over now.”

Brahim Rachiki was Madonna’s choreographer on Sticky and Sweet and choreographed part of Michael Jackson’s This is It.

Caresse Henry Madonna’s former manager is dead. Funeral arrangements for Caresse Henry will be in Westwood, California one week from today.

Caresse Henry was 44 and managed Madonna for a decade along with along music heavyweights Ricky Martin and Jessica Simpson. Liz Rosenberg informs press today that the funeral arrangements will be Friday, April 9th at ll:00 am at St. Paul’s Church in Westwood, California.

The official notice of death from Rosenberg reads as follows:

“Caresse Henry, 44, of Laguna Beach, California died suddenly on March 31st in Irvine, California. Despite rumors to the contrary, the cause of death has not been determined and is currently under investigation. Born in Los Angeles, Ms. Henry managed Madonna’s career for 10 years.

The logical response is …. Madonna as a ref on marriage? Even more illogical is the premiere slot, putting this (otherwise entertaining show) behind the hideously boring Men’s Cross Country Olympic coverage.

Yes, the Marriage Ref does air after the Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics. But if traffic numbers Sunday here are any indication, the viewership for NBC may have been with the Hockey game earlier and gone downhill ever since. (Very little interest has sparked, as least on this site Sunday, for the Closing Ceremonies.)

The show premieres also at a super late tune spot – 10:30 pm ET. Guests include Madonna, Larry David and Ricky Gervais.

A bad time slot, a late time slot, and Madonna giving advice on marriage ? …. Will the show be canceled Monday morning?
