Lil Boosie Not Dead as Fake Death Report Strikes Bill Cosby As Well

Lil Boosie Not Dead as Fake Death Report Strikes Bill Cosby As Well

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lil Boosie and Bill Cosby are not dead. Separate fake death reports are striking Lil Boosie (Torence Hatch) and Bill Cosby today July 4, 2012. The fake death claim directed at the rapper is the result of a fabricated Twitpic hoax spreading online Wednesday.

Lil Boosie’s real name is Torence Hatch. But some persons are retweeting a fake Twitpic today that erroneously claims that rapper “Torrance Hatch” and “Torrence Hatch” has died. The fake twitpic featured an image and then text above it.

The image features a male with the caption “Torrance Hatch”. The fabricated text then reads “Baton Rouge Rapper torrence hatch was found dead at Spaulding County Correction Institution.”

Lil Boosie is not at the so-called “Spaulding County Correction Institution”. Rather he reportedly is serving time at Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola). His name is not “Torrence” nor “Torrance”. And while Lil Boosie was convicted by a Louisiana court, fans will have a hard time finding a so called “Spaulding County Correction Institution” within the state of Louisiana. There is, however, a similarly spelled Spalding County Prison for Georgia inmates, not Louisiana inmates.

Bill Cosby, in contrast, is the victim of not one but five different fabricated death stories by Global Associated aka Media Fetcher today. The first fabricated tale claims that Cosby died in a car crash in Fullerton today and was treated at “Golden State Regional Hospital”. There is no such hospital.

At the same time, Global is claiming that Cosby fell to his death today in New Zealand. Also, Global erroneously asserts that Cosby fell to his death today in New Zealand. “New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set” falsely claims Global.

For Global, apparently a lot of people were falling around the world today. Global is also erroneously claiming that Bill Cosby also fell in Austrian, “in a remote area of the Hahnenkamm mountains”.

Miraculously, at the same time, Global is telling fans that Cosby today also died on a yacht in St Tropez. And lastly, if you didn’t believe the previously sinking ship and falling hiking stories, Global is claim that Cosby also died in Denver today as well.

Lil Boosie and Bill Cosby are alive. David Guetta didn’t die today, and Adam Sandler wasn’t snowboarding in Zermatt. And Lil Wayne and Miley Cyrus are very much alive as well.

LiL Boosie Not Dead

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Rapper Lil Boosie is not dead. Lil Boosie false death reports Tuesday are the latest in celebrity death claims promulgating online since 2009.

Earlier this month, Lil Boosie, the 27 year old rapper from Baton Rouge, was indicted on federal first degree murder charges stemming from the death of Terry Boyd. Lil Boosie also was booked on three counts of illegal substances, three counts of “conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics”, and two counts of “conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution. Lil Boosie has refuted all such charges.

Lil Boosie false reports follow fake Taylor Lautner death reports in January, similar to ones for Eminem in December 2009 and comparable claims for Taylor Swift thirty days earlier.
