LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy’s Kiana Kim (photos below) and Pete Rose have secured a new reality show for TLC. Kiana Kim, whose Playboy pictures endeavors dominated news in recent years, is now engaged to the 71 year old baseball star. Rose tells news that TLC has decided to pick up a 2012 reality show project about the couple, filmed in Los Angeles.

Kiana Kim first was covered on LALATE back in 2009. At the time, Pete Rose told news that he wanted his new girlfriend to pose for Playboy magazine. At the time the couple said she “will” appear for the publication.

Born in Seoul, Kiana moved to the US at age 5 and was raised in Los Angeles. But she thereafter pursued higher learning. She went to college at Arizona State and then got her BS in Business marketing.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy model Kiana Kim (photos below) and Pete Rose are getting serious, especially now that Rose is divorced. Kiana Kim and Pete Rose have been covered on LALATE as a serious couple since 2009. But during that time, Rose was also still married. This week that all changed.

Rose has filed locally in Los Angeles to end his marriage to Carol Rose. The couple had been married since 1984. Rose had no comment about the divorce news.

But since 2009, Kiana Kim and Pete Rose have certainly heated up news with Rose’s push for Kim to become a major page-turner in publications like Playboy. Kim is a former Korean Airlines’ flight attendant and an Arizona State graduate.

During a 2009 interview, Rose told news about Kim but omitted her name, simply saying  “My girl has finally decided to try to shoot for Playboy, and they were kind enough to give her an opportunity to come to Houston for an interview, and we’re excited about that.” Rose, while still married, had top praise for Kim, calling her educated and intelligent.

News of Kim came at the same time that Hank Aaron was telling press that Rose should be reinstated to baseball after a lifetime ban since 1989.  “I would certainly like to see him in. He belongs in, really” Aaron said then .”His career is one that he needs to be right here in the middle of all of this.”

Kim has appeared locally on Los Angeles morning news broadcast. She states that she “can be seen frequently on a segment of NBC’s Today in LA “The Morning Wakeup Workout”. “

“Howard welcomed everyone’s favorite Stern Show announcer George Takei this morning and immediately asked him if his new Sharp TV commercial was latently racist for using an Asian actor to announce the addition of a yellow filter to their TVs. George denied it, explaining that the Quattron television’s token feature was the addition of yellow to the standard display color-base of blue, green and red: “The picture is much richer.” Howard asked where the commercial aired and George replied that it ran in both the US and Europe: “It’s a nice contract.” “

Pete Rose said the following about Kiana in November:

“My girl’s a real educated girl. She graduated from Arizona State. She had a very prestigious job several years ago when she was a flight attendant for Korean Airlines, which is really a big deal in Korea, and she’s Korean. Let’s just hope that the Playboy people like her.”

“If they don’t, that’s okay too. We’ll just turn the page and thank them for the opportunity.”
