In fact, the Star is so compelled with their story that they are putting it on their front cover this week. “The only thing Lamar has been sticking around for was a child,” an insider allegedly told Star magazine. “But since Khloe hasn’t been able to get pregnant, he doesn’t see any point in staying in the marriage. He’s done.”

The cover features the typical yellow large font exclaiming “Khloe and Lamar” adding “$67 million divorce.” The subtitles read “the drunken fight that finally tore theme part”. Another reads “Lamar snaps ‘You can’t give me kids’ “. And finally the last line read “Khloe doesn’t know Lamar has met with lawyers.”

But the insert picture features Lamar with two women. That caption reads “Lamar caught partying in Vegas on October 5.” The two women have yet to be identified to news.

Despite their critics, the sisters are delivering some amazing pillows for value shoppers. Khloe tells news “It’s been so incredible seeing our Kollection grow and we’re all so proud of this new extension of our brand. We poured our hearts and souls into this project and I personally am just so proud of what we’ve accomplished together.” She added “I love every single piece of the HOME Kollection and I know you will too.”

The Lamar Odom Lakers-Mavs trade, at the time, was one of the most bizarre trades at the time in Los Angeles. Lamar claimed that the Lakers sent him to Dallas without his knowledge nor consent. But thereafter, Lakers’ officials told NBA news that was false. They assured news that Odom’s reps told the Lakers that Lamar wanted to be traded out of Los Angeles, and as a result, he ended up in Dallas.

Lamar Odom in recent days has not played with the Mavs. Initial news reports claimed that Odom was not playing because of a leave of absence to tend to his father. But WFAA now claims that too is false, that Odom is not tending with his father currently.

On Wednesday, news reports swirled that Odom had told Mark Cuban he wanted a buyout. Cuban has since said to news that a buyout demand has not (yet) be made by Odom. But if it lands on his desk, Cuban says he won’t grant it.

So what really is going with Lamar? Now a reality TV star in his own right, Lamar Odom is generating the “most amazing, bizarre story” of any athlete in Dallas in “a long, long, long time” claims Craig Miller of KTCK Radio.

While Khloe Kardashian has embraced the city, doing a radio show, Lamar has not, claims Miller. Miller asserts Lamar hates playing in Dallas and wants out, now. “The problem is he hates playing in Dallas, or maybe the bigger problem is, he wishes he were in LA.”

So is Lamar returning to the Mavs? Absolutely not, claims multiple news reports. They claim that Odom’s leave was granted before the All-Star break for personal reasons. Coach Rick Carlisle tells news that no reason for a leave since the All-Star break has been given by Odom.

Is Lamar heading back to the Lakers? Is Lamar going to sit out the rest of the season? The Fort Worth Star-Telegram claims Lamar could be heading to the Phoenix Suns. Dwain Price writes “The word on the streets is that the Mavs may trade Lamar Odom to Phoenix for Steve Nash. That will get Odom closer to his home in LA.” If true, is E! secretly planning Kim and Kourtney Take Phoenix? For now, only Lamar knows.

Odom was sent from the Lakers to the Mavericks as part of a packaged trade. Odom has one year on his salary contract left. He is to be paid $8.2 million this year. But the contract allows him to be bought out as little as $2.4 million. ESPN is reporting unconfirmed rumors that Odom would take as little as $1 million to walk away.

But Cuban tells news that he is not agreeing to a buyout. In a news statement to ESPN he said “I like what he can do for the team a lot more than I like that money.” The “that money” reference is freed salary cap space following an Odom buyout.

Odom officially is not missing games because of a contract dispute. He is reportedly with his father who is suffering a non-life threatening illness.

Yet,  Cuban claims Odom hasn’t asked for such a buyout. “We haven’t discussed a buyout and we wouldn’t do a buyout,” Cuban said in a news statement. “No chance that happens at all. We want to help Lamar work through any personal issues and expect him to be a valuable contributor to the Mavs this season. Players go through challenges from time to time and we try to be (an) organization that fully supports our players when things are challenging for them. We will do the same for Lamar.”

Lamar previously told news that the Lakers wanted to trade him. But rather, it was Odom who asked to be traded by the Lakers, Mitch Kupchak has since claimed. Kupchak has told news that Odom, not the Lakers, put the trade in motion, that Odom was not watching from the distance but demanding the trade promptly at the time.

But one new dimension remains to be found. Is there a secret family member who has never been pictured in these family Christmas Card? The cards have pictured friends – like Ryan Seacrest – and even extended family members. But amid reports that Khloe Kardashian’s biological father is still living, he has never been seen in any of these cards, at least until now.

But could that change this year? In the last year, the Kardashian family has been the brunt of criticism that their portrayals in reality TV programming are faked. Kim Kardashian has been accused of faking a marriage to Kris Humphries for TV ratings.

Moreover, Steven Levitt, who calculates celebrity Q Scores, and Mike Paul of MGP & Associates PR, a New York-based crisis management firm, both claim that the Kardashian’s name recognition has substantially increased in the last year. But both claim that the Kardashian popularity has fallen.

That potentially could change with a Khloe Kardashian “dad episode”. Viewers know that reality programming is expected to shock them and move their emotions. Nothing achieves that better than a paternity revelation on national television.

The question, however, is how the person’s identity could ever remain a secret until the program aired. In recent months, Kardashian fans have heard unbelievable and often absurdly ridiculous father claims – from a pool man to OJ Simpson. But that changed recently with revelation about Alex Roldan.

Alex Roldan is Kris Jenner’s hairdresser of more than thirty years. He has a shocking resemblance, both years ago, and today, to Khloe. The two share similar heights, chins, and facial features.

Ironically, since Roldan’s revelation came out roughly one week ago, the Kardashian media machine has still yet to comment about the news report. And yet, the national fascination with Khloe’s father continues to grow.

A sentimental, tearful revelation would not only become a massive record setting ratings moment for the Kardashian and E! family, but it would also cast the family in a far better light than their recent exploits. And don’t expect the father topic to fill only  one episode, as done in a previous season of their shows. It could become a storyline arch for an entire season of the programming. At the same time, it would move the family’s perception away from one million dollar diamond encrusted birthday cakes, to simple, core family issues that all viewers could relate to.
