I was Just a Jerk, John Mayer Apologizes to Jessica Simpson

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – “I was just a jerk” is the latest apology by John Mayer to Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift. John Mayer made the admission during a CBS Sunday Morning news interview set to air this weekend. “I was just a jerk,” he tells news. “It’s very liberating when you finally realize it’s impossible to make everyone like you. I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction.”

This is not the first time that John Mayer has apologized for his remarks. In 2012, on NPR’s All Things Considered, Mayer admitted his wrongdoing. So why is he still apologizing for comments now three years later? That remains unclear.

What did Mayer say of Simpson? The highly edited news comments at the time read “Yeah, that girl is like … it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, …. napalm.”

Mayer previously apologized about his white supremacist comments shortly after they were made. Mayer invoking a physical body part said at the time “I don’t think I open myself to it. My [body part] is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a …. David Duke [part]. I’m going to start dating separately from my [part].”

Mayer previously fumed about Taylor Swift’s Dear John song. “It made me feel terrible because I didn’t deserve it…. It’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait til he gets a load of this!’”

John Mayer Napalm Jessica Simpson Remarks Prompt Apology

John Mayer Apologizes for Jessica Simpson Napalm, Jennifer Aniston Playboy Comments

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – John Mayer is apologizing for his Jessica Simpson napalm comments, Jennifer Aniston insults, and white supremacist remarks from 2010 Playboy and Rolling Stone news interviews. John Mayer previous apologized for his white supremacist comments shortly after they were made. But now Mayer is apologizing also to Aniston and Simpson. In a news interview with NPR’s All Things Considered, Mayer admits he was wrong when he made the comments two years ago.

What did Mayer say of Simpson? Mayer’s original comments were made about Simpson to Playboy. The highly edited news comments at the time read “Yeah, that girl is like … it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, …. napalm.”

What exactly is napalm? As reported on LALATE at the time, napalm is an “aluminum soap of various fatty acids that when mixed with gasoline makes a firm jelly used in some bombs and in flamethrowers” or “an incendiary mixture of polystyrene, benzene, and gasoline”.

While Mayer’s comments about Simpson concerned their romance, Mayer’s remarks about Aniston were about the actress’ profession. “ The brunt of her success came before … Twitter. I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998. She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, ‘These are the new rules’ … I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last. In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32.”

In contrast, Mayer previously apologized about his white supremacist comments shortly after they were made. Playboy asked Mayer at the item “Do black women throw themselves at you?” Mayer invoking a physical body part said the following to the news publication at the time. ” I don’t think I open myself to it. My [body part] is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a …. David Duke [part]. I’m going to start dating separately from my [part].”

Mayer now tells news that he was wrong for making the comments. He says “I had nothing to say – I was going through a time in my life where I didn’t really want to share what was going on, but I didn’t want to be boring.”

He called his comments “free associating garbage,” claim that he “wasn’t prepared to be honest.” He added “You will eventually learn that you cannot correct your way out of everything,” he said. “I was thinking, ‘if they don’t like me, there must be something they are missing.’”

Giada De Laurentiis Denies John Mayer Allegation

NEW YORK (LALATE) – Giada De Laurentiis is denying a STAR allegation that she and John Mayer are cooking it up. Giada De Laurentiis laughed at the John Mayer report when questioned if she had found herself a new interest out of the kitchen.  Giada De Laurentiis, who is married to Todd Thompson, reportedly “giggled” when asked if there was something on the front burner up with her and the singer.

Giada De Laurentiis and John Mayer appear in the November 22 issue of the magazine. In it the mag claims the two were at the Boom Boom Room in the New York Standard Hotel. A source tells the magazine that the two were getting friendly. Another says they were spotted at the Hotel Gransevoort that same night; Giada denies that.

A giggling Giada says she only saw Mayer at the Standard. She said  “I just like his music. That’s all”. Giada is the granddaughter of Dino De Laurentiis and Italian film star Silvana Mangano.

She has a two year old child. On learning of her pregnancy, she told news at the time “When I found out I was pregnant I was in complete shock … I truly didn’t believe it. I honestly thought, ‘there has got to be a mistake.’”

Taylor Swift Sets John Mayer to Song

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Taylor Swift is not denying that John Mayer is the “John” in her new single “Dear John”, reports news today. While Taylor Swift slams John Mayer in her latest breakup single trying to breakout, Swift also warns future boyfriends to watch out; if you dump her, you’ll probably end up in a song too.

For Swift, she admits to MTV News that it’s part of a formula for her songwriting and love life. Swift says that as long as her relationships keep changing, her music keeps changing. But would she ever change that formula? No, says Swift. Swift reveals her means of songwriting is to to sit in her bedroom and write about what’s going on her life. She tells news that the “only way I know how to understand pain or move past it is to write songs about it”.

When asked if she worries that men might not date her for fear of getting memorialized in a song after they break up, Swift says she doesn’t care. She tells news, that after three albums about writing breakup songs, men should know what they are getting into with her. “You guys have had fair warning!”

“Dear John” reflects on Swift’s often rumored but never before confirmed relationship with John Mayer from last year. In the song, Swift says she was left crying, was subjected to games, and felt betrayed.

John Mayer Playboy Interview Text!

John Mayer Playboy Interview Text

TEXT! Here is the John Mayer Playboy Interview text. John Mayer Playboy’s interview is not going away anytime soon.

After years of being arguably Hollywood’s most arrogant celebrity alive, that arrogance has finally caught up on Mayer in a new interview in which he parses together words that make no utter sense. In mixing these words together, Mayer  is angering  a nation while making himself looking even more idiotic, than he normally already appears on a regular basis.

Along the way, he kisses and tells on two ex girlfriends. And rather than say – in simple words – hey, I’m not attracted to African American women, he instead says it’s the fault of his “white supremacist” manhoood.

He additionally says he rather hang around Twitter and TMZ than Jennifer Aniston because that’s current and she isn’t.

Mayer in fact admits arrogance was behind his poor word choice for the current Playboy Magazine in which he strings together series of words that virtually serve no meaning.

But he doesn’t apologize to either women. In fact, much of his apologies since have been a mess, like Mayer saying he needs to stop being “so raw” for interviews. Being “raw” is not what drives someone to say such outrageous comments in public about others and former girlfriends.

John Mayer Interview Jennifer Aniston!

John Mayer Interview Jennifer Aniston

John Mayer’s interview about Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and black women has a new revelation.

John Mayer’s interview slams Jennifer Aniston’s inability to use Twitter as a reason for their split. Now late today Mayer says he’s sorry.

No, he’s not sorry to Simpson or Aniston. Rather he says “I am sorry that I used the word [white supremacist] And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself.”

And where did he write his apology (that did not extend to the Friends’ star)? On Twitter, of course.

About Aniston, Mayer told Hef’s publication:

“One of the most significant differences between us was that I was tweeting. There was a rumor that I had been dumped because I was tweeting too much. That wasn’t it, but that was a big difference. The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter. I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998. She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, “These are the new rules.”…

“I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last. In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32.”

… and need to be more of a gentleman also.
