A long lost Beatles tape recording will be auctioned off next Tuesday. The Beatles tape features members of the Beatles talking, taping a recording of “I’ll Follow the Sun”, and more.

Cameo Auctioneers will auction off the the reel-to-reel tape. The Beatles tape was made in 1964 and found just recently in an attic. The tape features John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking and recording “I’ll Follow the Sun” and parts of “I Feel Fine” and “Don’t Put Me Down Like This”.

The drum that was featured on the cover of the Beatles album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album just sold at auction moments ago. The sale price: close to $1 million!

Writer Gail Renard owned the original handwritten lyrics by John Lennon for the song “Give Peace A Chance” song. Today those lyrics sold for $692,000 at auction in London. John Lennon gave them to Renard during the famous Bed-In demonstration in Montreal, Canada 1969.
