LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Joe Giudice is battling mistress allegations, claims of an affair, and possibilities of prison after a recent jail stint. But tonight, he is facing off against a new challenge: Chris Laurita. While Chris Laurita tells Giudice tonight that he likes Joe, that relationship will change dramatically later in the season.

In 2011, Jacqueline Laurita released shocking text messages between her and Teresa. In them, Laurita’s wife claimed that Joe Giudice was threatening Chris. It remains unclear when that will come up during the current RHONJ season.

But in 2011, during filming this season, Jacqueline told news “Teresa puts out an article that I text her an and threaten to release those [alleged cheating] pictures [of Joe] and I didn’t. I want to prove that Teresa is s…”.

Chris then tells news that “I heard that Joe was saying things to discredit myself as a businessman.” He adds “to use the word shady when we are suppose to be friends is not acceptable to me. “

Joe Giudice could go to prison, having already served time in jail, if convicted of recent criminal charges. But tonight, Joe is charged with treating his wife Teresa Giudice with disrespect.

Davana Medina is only Joe Giudice’s friend, Teresa Giudice is still deeply in love with Joe, and Teresa has told news that no cheating ever occurred. But that isn’t stopping Bravo from replaying, over and over again, the “secret” telephone conversation on RHONJ.

Why would someone who has done hundreds of hours of reality TV programming take a phone call from his alleged mistress while cameras are recording? Giudice knows that he is being video tapped, know that there is a live microphone on him, and knows that he is only feet away from dozens of Bravo crew, producers, and cast members.

The suggestion that Joe was just accidentally caught by his wife fielding a phone call from his alleged mistress is being panned by fans as simply not believable, staged, and fabricated for realty TV ratings.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Joe Giudice prison fight is beginning as Teresa Giudice is setting sail, literally. Joe Giudice will fight a possible prison (not jail) sentence in October this year. Giudice’s criminal trial begins that month; if found guilty, Giudice could immediately begin serving time in New Jersey state prison. But Teresa won’t be around. She’s heading to sea, hosting a celebrity cruise that December just weeks after her husband fights for his freedom.

Over the last year, Joe and Teresa Giudice’s news statements about his criminal trial have been anything but normal. The two on RHOC compared his criminal case, in which he faces ten years in prison if found guilty, to Joe Gorga’s mere civil dispute over windows. Even recently, Teresa told news that Joe was not available to appear at a court hearing because he was attending a teeth whitening convention.

But now, Teresa admits she is setting sail, even if Joe is possibly sent away, this winter. Teresa will host from December 28 to January 4, 2012 a Caribbean Holland America cruise ship that is all about her and her businesses. Fans will be treated to a Kate Gosselin like cruise that will feature discussions about food and winemaking.

So who hosts a cruise right after their husband stands trial in a criminal case? Teresa will, even though she is “100 percent behind him”, Joe’s attorney told a court last week.
The state offered Joe a plea deal in which he would serve five years in state prison (not local jail), but assured Giudice that he could be eligible for probation. Giudice declined.

Miles Feinstein told the Superior Court Judge Greta Gooden Brown that his client is ready to go trial. Joe Giudice agreed, appearing in court wearing blue jeans. Bravo cameras were not in the courtroom.

Giudice is accused of using his brother Pietro’s information to allegedly obtain a fake identification from the DMV in New Jersey after Giudice’s own license had been suspended. Giudice contends that he is being treated worse because he is a celebrity. “We believe that because of his celebrity, he is being treated differently than others.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Joe Giudice jail plea offer will head to Superior Court Judge Greta Gooden-Brown as early as possibly tomorrow. Joe Giudice’s jail plea deal was given a prior hearing date by Judge Gooden-Brown this summer. But that date passed with no further comment to news by prosecutors. Now Giudice is expected back in court in the coming days to tell Gooden-Brown if he has accepted or declined a plea deal from prosecutors. Unconfirmed reports claim that the Giudice hearing date could be as early as July 30, 2012.

Superior Court Judge Greta Gooden-Brown’s calendar and docket of current criminal cases is unavailable for public perusal online. Giudice earlier this summer was assigned to Gooden-Brown for his case in the Passaic Vicinage Criminal Division.

Passaic County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jay Mc Cann is handling the case against Giudice. Mc Cann and Giudice’s attorney previously told the Court on May 29 that a further extension was needed for the parties to discuss a plea deal officer. The Court reluctantly rolled the deadline over to June 27, 2012. But after that June 27 deadline passed with no comment to news, RHONJ fans wondered what had happened.

Recently Teresa told news that Joe would not be appearing in court. “No, he’s not going to court, ‘because he’s away on business. And I can’t discuss any legal matters.” If Teresa’s comments are accurate, then Joe is not likely to accept any plea deal before the Court this week. Any plea deal offer accepted would have been on the record before Gooden-Brown. But if Giudice is “not going to court”, then potentially he has not accepted the deal, at least not yet.

Melissa wrote about Joe this month . “Boys will be boys… If Joe Giudice is just mad Joe didn’t return tools, and he continues to speak the way he does about his wife’s brother, that’s sad.” She also added “He has continually bashed me as well, and in the long run he’s only making a fool of himself.”
