“El Chapo Guzman Escapes” Hoax 2014 Asks Did El Chapo Escape Again

El Chapo Guzman Escapes Hoax 2014 Surfaces - Did El Chapo Escape Again

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – “El Chapo Guzman Escapes from Islas Marias Prison” proclaims a hoax website tonight. Did El Chapo escape tonight and is his wife with him? The same website that created the “Gregorio Chavez” hoax is tonight pushing a fake El Chapo escape story.

El Chapo has not escaped. And Gregorio Chavez is not in custody. Several days ago a website falsely claimed “Family members of Gregorio Chavez are claiming he is the man currently under arrest by the government of Mexico and are falsely claiming him as famed … lord Joaquin Guzman.”

This time, the same website is focusing on a Mexican prison. The website is falsely starting today “Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ (Shorty) Guzman has just escaped from the ‘Islas Marias Federal Prison’, which is located in the island Maria Madre in Mexico.” It adds “The Islas Marias Federal Prison has a history of multiple escapes and escape attempts with 76 escapes in the last 25 years.”

The website further claimed that the faux escape left dozens of persons dead. “The Escape is one of the most intense and bloodiest escapes in history with over 64 cartel members and prison guards dead.” The site adds “An estimated 130 Sinaloa cartel members attacked the Prison armed with firearms, mostly AK-47?s, and helped El Chapo escape with brute force in less than an hour. The cartel members killed an estimated 45 prison guards, while only 19 cartel members were killed in the prison battle. El Chapo was taken away in a helicopter reportedly flying southeast towards South America.”

But the entire story is a hoax. Buried at the bottom of the website, in the footer, is a disclaimer that the site is a “combination of real shocking news and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.”

For years fans have been tricked by fake death reports by sites like Global Associated aka Mediafetcher. But in 2013, the site headed into a different arena: sports injuries. Known for their fake death reports, Global been apparently expanding into the broken leg hoax business. With the title “Pro Football News, Clay Matthews Breaks Both Legs In Car Accident”, Global uses a preexisting template and just switches out the player’s name. The body of the stories are all the same.

“The accident involved a 2012 BMW driven by Clay Matthews and a 76 year old female driver in a 2010 Audi” reads the fake report. “The driver of the Audi was issued a citation for failing to stop at a red light before striking the vehicle driven by Clay Matthews at a high rate of speed.”

For now, another website is using non-template stories to proffer believable stories about current events. Nevertheless, El Chapo has not escaped and remains in custody.

El Chapo Guzman Escape Possible? Prison Escape Fear Fuels Extradition

El Chapo Guzman Escape Possible? Prison Break Fear Fuels Extradition

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – La captura del Chapo Guzman immediately prompted worries by U.S. officials about one big issue. Could an El Chapo Guzman escape 2014 happen, could El Chapo escape from a Mexican prison as he did years earlier, and avoid both Mexican and U.S. prosecution? Tonight that fear has grown. El Chapo’s attorneys have successful won a “provision suspension” of any possible extradition of the Sinaloa cartel leader from Mexico to the U.S. And Mexico is allegedly is not being very helpful on the subject, seeking right of first prosecution. So what will happen to his wife Emma Coronel Aispuro (photos below)?

El Chapo Guzman understands that fighting and winning extradition is his best bet at escaping. Official remind news that El Chapo did not originally escape pending trial. Rather, the Mexican cartel leader was convicted and sentenced to twenty years in prison. El Chapo plotted his escape for roughly a half decade behind bars. And then, seven years into his prison term, El Chapo escaped.

At the time of his escape, El Chapo was being held in a maximum security facility in Mexico. He is currently in a similar facility. But U.S. officials admit worries of another escape.

The problem is right of first prosecution. Ambassador Eduardo Medina-Mora, Mexico’s ambassador to the United State, reminded U.S. news this week that Mexico has the right of first prosecution. It can defer on that, and allow the U.S. to prosecute El Chapo first, opening the door for extradition to the U.S. prompting for that possible U.S. case.

But what is Mexico doing? For now, they are seeking first prosecution in Mexico. Medina-Mora tells news “Bilateral security and justice cooperation between Mexico and the United States unfolds in a mature and serene way, and cases like Mr. Guzman’s are processed with openness. I think that the charges he faces in Mexico will be processed first and an eventual extradition request would be considered at the appropriate time.”

So is Mexico working against U.S. authorizes in the matter, even though DEA agents are widely credited in cracking El Chapo’s communication system this month and capturing the cartel leader? For now, Medina-Mora has said clearly that El Chapo will face prosecution in Mexico first, not second. Hence don’t expect extradition support anytime soon from Medina-Mora. “Mr. Guzman could eventually face the charges against him in the U.S., after facing the charges against him in Mexico.”

The ambassador is clearly against extradition at this time. “If and when we receive an extradition request, it will be analyzed by the appropriate Mexican legal authorities and if granted, Mexico will decide upon the right moment to execute that possible extradition request.” He added “Mr. Guzman still has pending time to serve in Mexico from his original sentence and he also faces new charges in Mexico that will be processed in Mexican federal courts.”

For now, El Chapo has won the first victory. A federal judge has suspended any extradition for now and is asking further papers from prosecutors and El Chapo’s attorneys to decide whether to deny the extradition permanently. Officials tell news that the process could take several weeks. Officials in a news statement said “It is too early to give a position right now [on extradition].”

La Captura Del Chapo Guzman, Emma Coronel Aispuro Aided by Nariz, Mayo

La Captura Del Chapo Guzman, Emma Coronel Aispuro Aided by Nariz, Mayo esposa wife

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Emma Coronel Aispuro (photos below), the wife of el Chapo Guzman, was arrested in Mexico with the Sinaloa cartel leader, officials tell news. But who helped “La Captura Del Chapo Guzman 2014″? Officials now claim that El Mayo, whose real name is Ismael Zambada Garcia, and Nariz, real name Mario Hidalgo Arguello, ultimately aided the arrest of Chapo Guzman, his wife Emma Coronel Aispuro, and his chief of communications and technologies, Condor, whose real name is Carlos Ho-Ramirez.

When local noticias proclaimed Sunday “La Captura Del Chapo Guzman”, few aspects of the investigation were initially released to news. We were told about tunnels, connecting homes, secret escapes, and underground passageways through parts of Mazatlan. But how had authorities narrowed their search to that town, and who “flipped” during the investigation?

Officials tell news that that real discovery erupted on February 16, 2014, just days before El Chapo’s arrest. They arguably cold case got hot when DEA agents that day found a cellphone owned by Condor. The events leading up that discovery are not being released to news. But officials claim that Condor’s cellphone focused their attention on Mazatlan, a weapons storage facility, and more.

Messages on that cellphone are believed to have then led DEA to a person named Nariz within twenty-four hours. Nariz was El Chapo’s courier. It remains if El Chapo was using Nariz to transfer items to a stash house. But as soon as Nariz was detained, and questioned by DEA, he reportedly “flipped” on El Chapo without much delay.

From Nariz, DEA’s case began to snowball. Within four days they would have El Chapo in custody. Nariz is said to have described to investigators the systems of homes, the tunnels, and the transportation of El Chapo from residence to residence. Nariz is believed to have identified five homes dubbed also “stash houses” in Culiacan, Mexico.

Nariz told investigators that, underneath the bathtubs in these homes, was a link to a sewer system. Five of those homes were identified and a main residence was revealed by Nariz. Within hours, DEA was raided that main El Chapo residence. But sources tell news that the steel security frames constructed on the residence by El Chapo were far more difficult to break than Nariz had described. Some reports claim that, during that main residence raid, El Chapo only narrowly escaped.

One day later, DEA appeared to have gotten lucky with a witness, a non-El Chapo employee, spotting El Chapo entered a Mazatlan sewer. But then, for two days, there was no further break in the case.

Finally, DEA on February 20 made their second biggest break of the case, the arrest of El Mayo, an El Chapo head. There are conflicting reports if El Mayo was picked up by DEA or if surrendered. Some reports claim that Guzman might have been feuding with El Mayo. Locals tell news that they believe that El Mayo gave up El Chapo during interrogations on February 20.

DEA had been seizing a series of cell phones and electronic devices since February 16. But on February 21, they intercepted a new device used by Condor. They were able to track it to a Mazatlan condo. DEA raided the facility and arrested El Chapo, Emma and Condor. El Chapo was reportedly cooking for Emma as Mexican Marines and DEA agents raided the residence.

La Captura del Chapo Guzman 2014: Will Emma Coronel Aispuro Visit Him?

La Captura del Chapo Guzman 2014: Will Emma Coronel Aispuro Visit Him esposa noticias

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – “La Captura del Chapo Guzman 2014″ headlined noticias last night across Mexico. But today questions remain if the wives, las esposas, of el Chapo will visit him in jail in Mexico or attend his trial in the U.S. Emma Coronel Aispuro (photos below), Alejandrina Maria Salazar, and Griselda Lopez Perez are among the known wives of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán. But are there more El Chapo wives and even more children?

Many of the facets leading up to La Captura del Chapo Guzman on February 22, 2014 actually were being detailed by local noticias earlier this month. News reports today claim that Mexican Marines were seen earlier this month lifting up sewer covers in Sinaloa. It remains unclear how long that El Chapo had been in the town. But local news confirms that El Chapo was allegedly not arrested inside a residence but inside a condo building in the port of Mazatlan.

El Chapo had not been seen by authorities since 2001. But when images first surfaced following his arrest, including the above mugshot, many were surprised by El Chapo’s aged appearance.

Today questions remain about the future of El Chapo’s family, their location, and how in touch they remained with the cartel leader over the years. He was married to Alejandrina Maria Salazar and had Cesar, Ivan Archivaldo and Jesus Alfredo. He then married Griselda Lopez Perez, and had Edgar, Joaquin, Ovidio and Griselda Guadalupe. Finally in 2007 he married an 18-year old beauty queen Emma Coronel Aispuro.

In 2011, LALATE reported that Emma Coronel Aispuro gave birth to the couple’s twins babies inside a Lancaster, California hospital. Her movement was legal since she was not a wanted person and had dual citizenships.

Today, there are reports that not one but eight districts in the U.S. will seek extradition. They include New York, California, Texas, Florida and Illinois. U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch in the Brooklyn federal district plan is moving for extradition promptly.

U.S. forces aided the arrest this week. But the move for extradition is critical. Insiders contend that U.S. officials are still concerned that El Chapo could escape once again. In 2001, he escaped from one of Mexican top high-security prison. Over the years, he escaped twice.

In 2013, Guzmán launched his own hoax effort claiming that he had been found dead after hiding in Honduras. Fueled more confusion was a hoax website last night, not tied to the Cartel leader, claiming that El Chapo had not been arrested by rather a person named Gregorio Chavez. “Family members of Gregorio Chavez are claiming he is the man currently under arrest by the government of Mexico and are falsely claiming him as famed drug lord Joaquin Guzman,” said the fake website.

Nevertheless, the search effort ended on Saturday at 6:40 am local time Saturday February 22, 2014. El Chapo was found inside, not a hotel, but rather the Miramar condominiums. The location was a 10-story luxury building on the Pacific Ocean. He reportedly had been in the condo for just less than two days. Also detained with him was a person named Carlos Manuel Hoo Ramirez.

La Captura del Chapo Guzman: Extradition to Illinois Sought el chapo Promptly

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – “La Captura del Chapo Guzman” headlined Mexico local “noticias” tonight as further details about the arrest of El Chapo Guzman, head of the Sinaloa Cartel, surfaced. El Chapo or Shorty aka Joaquin Guzman Loera, head of the Sinaloa Cartel, was captured not in a tunnel but in a hotel-condominium tower today February 22, 2014 in Mazatlan, Mexico. The same region was terrorized by El Chapo with threats against tourists since 2011. But as Univision and Telemundo aired footage of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, some critics took to YouTube to proclaim “No es El Chapo”. Meantime, a hoax website surfacing, falsely claiming that the arrest was a mistake, that the man arrested was not El Chapo but Gregorio Chavez. Meantime, few details about his wife, his esposa, former beauty queen Emma Coronel Aispuro (photos below), have surfaced.

Tonight, prosecutors detailing the arrest La Captura del Chapo Guzman 2014 are expressing their certainty that they have the right man. El Chapo Guzman was arrested in a resort community “without firing a shot,” said attorney general Jesus Murillo. Prosecutors told news that they narrowed in on El Chapo since February 13, and were focusing on several homes. He was moved back and forth between homes through an elaborate underground rain system.

In 2001, El Chapo escaped from a Mexican prison (in a laundry cart no less) just before extradition to the U.S. El Chapo changed his cell phone every day for over a decade. Nevertheless, “there were several times when he could be arrested. Prudence and common sense did not we put at risk the public and we did it in the right time, without firing a shot . There was not a single damage and no one was injured”, officials told news today 2/22/14.

Officials admitted that they almost captured him earlier this month. But Guzman used his tunnel system which linked into that the town’s sewage system. Then, once into each home, El Chapo had his team close each entrance with a steel system.

Critics took to YouTube to proclaim that the man, now considerately older and in his fifties, was not the right man. “No es El Chapo”, they asserted. But Murillo Karam said that “100%” confirmation had verified that they had the right man.

Nevertheless a hoax website surfaced online adding to the confusion. “Family members of Gregorio Chavez are claiming he is the man currently under arrest by the government of Mexico and are falsely claiming him as famed drug lord Joaquin Guzman,” the fake website read.

DEA officials out of Illinois tell news that they are moving quickly for extradition. Mexican marines and U.S. DEA agents worked in conjunction for the arrest.

Emma Coronel Aispuro El Chapo Wife Remains Silent Post Sinaloa Capture

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Emma Coronel Aispuro, the wife of El Chapo Guzman de Sinaloa (photos below), remained silent following Shorty’s arrest today. Her whereabouts are unknown. La esposa de Joaquin Guzman Loera aka El Chapo or Shorty visited Southern California in July, 2011, gave birth to El Chapo’s kids, and then returned to Mexico. Her entry was legal. But purported Emma Coronel Aispuro wedding photos, and much about her relationship with El Chapo, have remained a mystery ever since.

Emma Coronel Aispuro first made news in Southern California in fall 2011. Over a decade earlier, in 2001, Guzman had escaped from a Mexican prison. In doing so, he evaded extradition to the United States. But six years later, El Chapo found his future wife, in Mexico. In 2007, he married a beauty queen Emma Coronel Aispuro. In 2011, LALATE reported her then age to be twenty-two.

But in November 2011, Southern California authorities told news that the beauty queen legally had entered the U.S. to give birth to El Chapo’s kids and then return to Mexico. So where were El Chapo’s kids born? LALATE reported at the time that Emma Coronel Aispuro gave birth to twins babies in July 2011 inside a Lancaster, California hospital. Her movement was legal since she was not a wanted person and had dual citizenships.

Ironically, one year later, a similar situation occurred but ended with a different outcome. Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar, claiming to be the daughter of El Chapo, was arrested after trying to enter the U.S.. Guzman said she wanted to head to Southern California to give birth as well.

Nevertheless, in the case of both women, they did not use tunnels. For over a decade, Shorty was described by investigators as an alleged tunnels expert.
