President George W. Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush today married Henry Hager before about 200 guests at the Bush’s 1,600 acre, secluded ranch.
Jenna chose a low key secluded wedding rather than a D.C. pomp’ affair.
And then there was the Pizza Hut part of this story. Yes, Pizza Hut.What did Pizza Hut think about Jenna Bush’s wedding? Pizza Hut offered to deliver late night snacks. Pizza Hut President Scott Bergren sent the President and offer to provide the new Pizza Mia at the end of the evening reception.“And we’d be happy to serve it with any of Jenna’s favorite toppings. Of course, as our gift to the newlyweds, the pizzas are on us. After all, we feel a certain bond with the First Family. Like you, we call Texas home — we’re just up the road from Crawford in Dallas.”The Bush response? No comment.To which Pizza Hut reported: “I guess they are going to leave their guests with something less tasty,” he said.
