Saturday begins with Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress count growing to 16 while Ashley Samson claims Tiger Woods’ team offered her cash to change her story.

1. Ashley Samson.

Samson was the original source in the National Enquirer exclusive on Rachel Uchitel, the story that started the Woods scandal. Now Friday the Enquirer reports the following about Samson :

“Now in another bombshell revelation, Ashley – who passed a lie detector test – tells The ENQUIRER: “Tiger Woods’ people offered me $200,000 to change my story and to deny he was having an affair with Rachel. “But I turned him down flat, saying I would not lie for Tiger because the truth IS the truth.” “

2. Latest Alleged Mistress:

Alleged 16th mistress is reported as very attractive, older than Woods, and part of a multi year affair in Radar Saturday: “A woman who has had a several-year affair with Tiger Woods and has now hired a lawyer… The woman is older than Tiger and very attractive. She has not spoken publicly but recently retained a lawyer to deal with Tiger’s people.”

3. John Daly

Fellow golfer John Daly says Woods waited to long to come clean.

“My advice to him last week was that he should have come out a lot earlier, told the truth, got it all out on the table. …. I’m in shock over it all. I think a lot of our players are in shock. I’ve tried to get hold of Tiger and his manager but he just didn’t want to talk to anybody.

“You don’t stay married for the kids, you don’t stay married for the money. You stay married because you love each other. I hope they’re staying together for the love they have for each other.

“I pray and hope they both get through it and if they ever need anything from me, I’ll be happy to talk to them because I love them both.”

Tiger Woods once said he bought Privacy to get away from the media. Instead, it’s Privacy that is attracting the media this weekend. Privacy is 155 feet long, berthed at Old Port Cove, and its name has recently been covered up. Yes, Privacy demands its privacy.

And the irony doesn’t stop there. Tiger Woods according to a boating website sued Privacy’s builder for allegedly violating his purchase contract’s ….. privacy clause!

“[I]t is said that Tiger Woods discovered Christensen had used his purchase to promote their business and sued them for violating the privacy agreement that was signed when the boat was ordered. Wood’s lawsuit claimed the shipyard used his name and photos for promotion without authorization.”

After weeks of remaining silent, Tiger Woods late on Friday evening issued a statement finally breaking the silence. But is it too little, too late?

And with the alleged mistress count spirally out of control from 1 to potentially 18, did Tiger Woods think one press statement calling this double digit mistress scandal a transgression wasn’t laughable?

TIGER LATEST – PUBLIC DIDN’T BUY HIS SILENCE

The Times Herald Record says Woods was wrong in thinking a scandal of this magnitude would go away. The paper says Tiger Woods blamed the press and didn’t come clean. And that clearly didn’t work.

“Woods failed to deploy basic crisis management strategies. Instead of controlling the story, his lack of disclosure fueled public speculation. He blamed the media, rather than come clean. Woods also allowed third parties, like alleged mistresses and disappointed friends, tell the story for him. What’s worse, the story isn’t going away.”

The Daily Telegraph says Tiger Woods’ handlers have for a long time manipulated his image as “boring” when in fact he was more “Cheetah Woods” then Tiger Woods.

“Tiger is not only the richest and most famous athlete in the world; he has manipulated his image to an unprecedented degree – helped by America’s golf journalists, who have always done his bidding. It appears that some of them knew of his extramarital activities, but never breathed a word; for Tiger was a meal ticket for everyone in the world of golf. “

And AP notes that Woods has been a self proclaimed control freak. But his control didn’t work.

“Tiger is known as a control freak, but what he has done is let this slip out of his control. There is some hypocrisy here” said Jason Maloni, vice president of the sports and entertainment practice at Levick Strategic Communications in Washington to AP.

LATEST NEWS UPDATE! Tiger Woods’ announcement of a “break” comes as endorsements, mistresses, and claims of payoff snowballed. Tiger Woods’ announcement Friday came as the scandal of now several weeks had dropped to new depths.

It had all started with allegations of an affair with one or two women, a mere vip host and a reality tv star. By Friday, it was a Madam’s allegations and her working women with Tiger Woods.

Today alone the allegations were stunning.

On Friday came allegations of Woods paying for women, booked by a madam, choosing a repeated blond white type of women, being flown by Woods to where he was playing. On Friday came Ashley Samson, the original friend of Rachel Uchitel and source of the National Enquirer story, claiming Woods’ reps offered her payoff money to change her story and lie that it Uchitel and Woods never happened. That comes after claims from Gloria Allred’s daughter that Rachel Uchitel was paid off to zip it.

On Friday there was the endorsement of Accenture dropping Woods’ image off its website home page after it “built its marketing campaign around the golfer since 2003″ says Bloomberg.

On Friday morning The Sun claimed Elin Woods told Tiger it’s either her or golf. This followed  reports broke to you here that the two are set to temporarily move to Sweden, to Faglaro Mansion, just bought by Elin and sister within days.

Finally, the endorsements.

Just before Woods issued his statement, an alleged meeting of Woods’ sponsors was scheduling also Friday afternoon. And suddenly Woods is taking a break.

Coincidence?

Friday saw Fox News reporting other corporate sponsors are heading into meetings today. “Several of Tiger Woods’ corporate sponsors, including Pepsi, Proctor and Gamble, and Gillette, are in meetings Friday discussing whether or not the golf pro’s actions in his personal life violated the terms of his multi-million dollar deals, a source close to the situation tells FoxNews.com. Reps for Pepsi, Gillette and Proctor and Gamble did not respond for comment.”

Earlier this week LALATE broke Woods has not appeared in a TV primetime ad slot since the mistress scandal broke. And on Thursday LALATE broke to you first that his watch sponsor, Tag Heuer, has yanked his ads from Australian jewelry. The company said the scandal was not the reason for the change while store owners had their own opinion.

LATEST UPDATE. PHOTO – Here again is a picture of Tiger Woods’ mistress. Tiger Woods admits he had at least one mistress in his statement Friday night. For weeks, the alleged mistress count for Tiger Woods has grown as Woods refused to issue an admission.

That is until tonight. Woods doesn’t specify if there was more than one mistress but simply says he has committed “infidelity”.

As of Friday, the alleged mistress count rose to 15. So which of the 15 does Woods admit to? We may never know.

TIGER LATEST – WOODS ADMITS MISTRESS(ES)

Woods initially told the press he wouldn’t respond to mistress allegations and that it’s a private matter. Tonight he responded to it. After the press uncovered over one dozen alleged mistresses, Woods says his “soul searching” is what caused him to come to today’s revelation.

Woods says

“After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.”

“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.

“I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What’s most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.

The world of VIP hosts, models, and “film” stars may have occupied the earlier alleged mistresses. Now with Loredana Jolie, a Playboy Cyber Girl, in goes somewhere far different. Her alleged employer Michelle Braun claims Woods paid to have relations with Jolie.

Michelle Braun tells the Daily News that Loredana Jolie was Tiger Woods’ mistress, interacting with her four to five times between fall 2006 and early 2007, and paying for her services. Braun gives great details about how Woods, according, paid for alleged mistress 15.

Braun also said Tiger Woods paid cash – “I’d say he paid $15,000 for her”. She adds he we would pay $30,000 to $40,000 for interaction. Braun claimed Tiger had a type and only purchased servicees of a cetain look. “He would request the college-cutie, girls-next-door look” she said.And yes, Jolie is blond and white. Finally, Braun claimed Woods would book her girls and have them flown around to where he was at the time. “He was rarely with just one girl. He usually wanted more. He liked three-ways”.
