LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The latest Hurricane Sandy projected path 2012 is prompting school and airport closures today. Frankestorm Hurricane Sandy Path Delivers Halloween Tracking Trick

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Frankestorm Hurricane Sandy is delivering a Halloween tracking trick for news analysts. Frankestorm Hurricane Sandy 2012 is currently on a projected path to deliver her fright around Halloween, but spreading from the Carolinas to New England, while retaining her intensity. While news analysts are still unsure if Sandy will exceed the damage of the 1991 Perfect Storm, many are concerned about her targeted cities being far more densely populated than those hit by the 1991 weather system.

In a news statement Saturday morning, the National Hurricane Center warned residents that Sandy is still on track, but that her path is keeping her moving slightly northeast. NHC tells news that Sandy is “slowly moving away form the Bahamas”. For today, “tropical storm force winds are already near the coast of North Carolina”.

Officials are warning that Sandy is moving towards Charleston. She is currently about three hundred fifty-five moles southeast of town. She is moving with seventy-five mile per hour winds, shifting northeast at nine miles per hour. Sandy, is however, changing a bit, moving now roughly thirty degrees to the east. Officials tell news that “all tropical storm watches and warnings along the east cast of Florida have been discontinued.”

For now, a storm warning in effect for south Santee River, South Carolina to Duck, Pamlico and Albemarle Sound”. A storm watch is in effect for the Savannah River to South Santee River and for Bermuda.
