NEW MUSIC! Hitting the net today is the High School Musical 3 Track listing. Last week, LALATE broke that the Soundtrack for High School Musical 3 is currently available for pre order.

Now today, news of the track listing.

In HSM3, Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) are now seniors and confronted with the difficulty of being split up after graduation. The rest of the Wildcats, including Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) and Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu) stage a final musical to celebrate their last year in High School.

Meantime, any day ABC’s summer reality show, High School Musical: Get in the Picture, will air. The winner will get a chance to star in a music video that is shown that will play over the credits in HSM3.

NEW MUSIC! The High School Musical 3 Soundtrack is hitting stores!

Get ready all you Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and gang, fans because the soundtrack for the third High School Musical has just been given a release date!

The album gets a digital release date of October 21, 2008.

LALATE can tell you that this is the first release date announced for any music from HSM3.

So far, nothing has been announced - not a track listing, first single date, radio station release date, nothing. So this is exciting hot news.

Zac Efron Photos

New photos hitting the net today of Zac Efron are causing a mass sensation. Only one problem : are the photos even new?

The Zac Efron pictures reportedly from a Madrid photoshoot are spreading across the net today like a wildfire.

But do you notice something wrong in the pictures, too?

These pictures can’t be Zac Efron from 2008. He looks literally cerca 2006.

Early this week, girlfriend and High School Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens shot down rumors that Efron doesn’t bath calling those the craziest rumors yet about Zac.

Give it a few months. With the opening of High School Musical 3 in movie theatres later this year, not bathing is going to look more mild in gossip circles than a bar of Ivory Soap.

Camp Rock Beats High School Musical !

Both of LALATE’s predictions for Camp Rock were right! 1) Camp Rock beat High School Musical’s ratings last night and 2) Camp Rock was the most watched cable event for 2008!

1. The Disney Channel original move Camp Rock drew 8.9 million viewers last night, according to Nielsen Media Research fast national ratings provided by Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group. That beats High School Musical 1 at 7.8 million, but short of HSM2’s 17.2 million when Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashely Tisdale were already a bigger name.

2. Camp Rock pulled in the most watched ratings for June 20 on TV, topping CBS by more than 3 million viewers.

3. Camp Rock was cable’s watched entertainment telecast in 2008.

Camp Rock’s first weekend ratings won’t be known until Monday. The movie runs on ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney on Saturday night and on ABC Family Sunday. It will hit Disney.com on Monday.

Vanessa Hudgens Zac Efron Showers

Vanessa Hudgens speaks out about that report that Zac Efron doesn’t like to shower. And Hudgens also reveals she’s going to Stanford (in High School Musical 3).

Hudgens tells one magazine that she goes to Stanford, perhaps alone, in the upcoming High School Musical 3. “I’m in San Francisco. Part of the movie is shot at Stanford. I get accepted.” She reveals not all the characters go to the same school.

Hudgens says this will be the final High School Musical for the original gang.

But what about those stories that Zac Efron doesn’t like to shower?

Hudgens says “That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic. … He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does.”

Track listings for Vanessa Hudgens’ “Identified” has hit the net. The new album from Vanessa Hudgens will be promoted this summer with a series of concert tour dates across the U.S., mostly in the midwest, often with fellow High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu.

Those Hudgens concert dates first revealed exclusively here on LALATE from Hudgens’ reps will include many outdoor venues for these warm summer months.

Vanessa Hudgens Sneakernight VIDEO!

NEW MUSIC VIDEO: Watch the new music video for Vanessa Hudgens’ “Sneakernight” off her upcoming album “Identified”. Sneaker night’s music video was just released today by Hollywoood Records online.

Several months ago, LALATE first featured exclusives from Hudgens’ representatives on “Sneakernight”, including the wonderful high definition album photos to her upcoming tour dates. Vanessa Hudgens is one of LALATE’s fav celebrities. We’ve reported on her before even a HSM3 was confirmed.

However, to say that LALATE likes her new music video for “Sneakernight” would be untrue. Sorry Vanessa, but the music video is horrible.

First, the clip below (from Hollywood Records) doesn’t even have the audio and video in sync. Second, the song is about dancing, but the dance moves aren’t there. Hudgens is set up several times in the video with a walk in entrance, but then basically no dance moves.

This is just …. very disappointing, especially considering this one of the best songs this spring. It’s a great song. Identified drops June 24, 2008.

Across other websites right now, the reaction is about the same.

Zac Efron is such a doll, literally. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens get their own dolls in these newly released High School Musical 3 figurines today. The new dolls for the movie High School Musical 3 are not given a name but clearly they are suppose to be Zac and Vanessa.But do you think they look like Zac and Vanessa?

This is not the first time Zac Efron is a doll.

David Archuleta High School Musical 3 ?

David Archuleta in High School Musical 3? Online chatter today says that Disney wants American Idol David Archuleta in High School Musical 3.Don’t believe the rumor.

The film is currently shooting, gets released this October, and Archuleta is under a no-Idol ban until reportedly September.

David A was reported to appear in a live charity event this friday but allegedly yanked because it was not Idol-sponsored.

Could he film a shot for High School Musical 3 after September and still make the final cut? Probably not.

But how cool would that be to have in him HSM3!

High School Musical 3 Track List

High School Musical 3 is back in the news today as new reports of track listings hits the net. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have reportedly given some of the track listings from the soundtrack.Ironically, both of these two songs from Zanessa do not appear in the chattered track list that hit the net in January as “official”. That January list (below) may in fact now be wrong.

Chatter today says Vanessa Hudgens reportedly has explained that there is a song in the movie called “A Night to Remember” and Zac Efron reportedly has revealed that the opening song is “Now or Never”. Neither of those two songs appear in the below list that heated up online chatter back in January.
