The story behind the story on Heidiwood, Heidi Montag’s clothing line with Anchor Blue, is that the buzz is enormous.Even if you hate her, or her clothes, Heidiwood is one of the top searched stories this week.
But the reviews are also enormous … enormously HORRIBLE.
(And with that … it will probably be a huge hit for girls that want to dress that way.)
Says Think Fashion : “The clothes are terrible. Heidi’s line is a combo of trashed-up stripperwear and beachy-blah t’s and minis – a strange mix, but nothing we don’t see every Saturday when we hit the Old Navy then follow it up with a lap dance at the local strip bar. “
There is reportedly a second party for its at Area Nightclub on April 22.
The FugGirls in the New York Magazine (picture above) are giving Heidi Montag’ clothing line Heidiwood much the same type of reviews. Okay, actually worse. Says Fug Girls “It was bad. So bad. To Montag’s credit, she trumpets Heidiwood’s prices of $10 to $60 for any given item — compared to the triple-digit tags on L.C.’s line, that’s a sure sign that she at least she understands her demographic. And yet everything we saw still gave us sticker shock. Paper-thin tanks for $27? Flimsy, panty-line-molesting dresses at nearly 40 bucks? “
“No self-respecting grown woman should allow herself to be seen in these garments.” says Fug Girls.
