LALATE (LOS ANGELES) – The Hills Finale airs tonight with split Heidi Montag loving life and Spencer Pratt saying he’s homeless. The Hills Finale tonight signals the end of one of the most successful, and certain lucrative, reality shows this decade. But in recent months, the Hills has also signified the end of marriage of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

And despite the finale tonight, many cast members have said in recent weeks that they have not seen either Pratt nor Montag to personally confirm, or deny, whether their breakup is real.  Pratt reveals this week that he is without a home. This despite Pratt opened up his Pacific Palisades home to media just weeks ago.

Spencer tweeted recently “Booking my room at Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood now that I have no place to live I think I should just move in there today stay near the action”. The Roosevelt is the location of tonight’s finale afterparty.

In contrast, Montag tweeted that she is “Loving life” and “Finally, the sun is out!!!! Whooooo!!! … Swimming in my pool I love summer this is the first summer of my new life.”

Montag first announced her professional split from Pratt and the end of Speidi in March, stating she had hired Aiden Chase, a psychic “Hollywood’s Healer” and star of “Ancient Tomorrow”. She thereafter said she wasn’t hiring Chase but was divorcing Pratt.

Montag and Pratt dominated 2009 with constant interviews in US Magazine. Since news of the couple’s split since Friday, US Magazine has run not one but over four stories about the Montag Pratt split.

In one report, Montag’s new roommate Jennifer Bunney talks to the magazine. In another, Montag’s rep gives a statement. Yet Montag’s rep tells US “Heidi is going through a difficult time and hopes people respect her privacy”. This comes as news details “surface” about Montag’s new reality show project with Bunney.

This comes as other news that Montag and Bunney hope to appear in their own reality show this summer. Bunney who reportedly is blonde now tells press that “Heidi and I are moving into a Malibu beach house this summer. We’re really excited to do girly things and show people who we really are and that we’re really fun, sweet and loyal girls.”

Montag took to twitter lately to claim she has no real friends, only to thereafter say Bunney is her only friend.

“PS: I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.”

Speidi is no more, the separation of MTV’s most famous reality tv couple confirmed this weekend. Yet in March the couple told press that Speidi, as a business team, had ended also. Montag told local news at the time that she and Pratt were no longer together for employment projects.

Montag said that the two were still in love but no longer in business together. “We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi”. “The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi.”

Montag and Pratt’s antics made commercial print success in 2009 landing countless magazine covers through over the top, staged photo-opps. But by fall 2009, public sentiments towards the stars changed. And with that, so did Montag’s appearance, causing a family dispute between her mom and husband at their home in Pacific Palisades section of West Los Angeles this spring.
