LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Spencer Pratt claims an MTV producer believed in a “Snookie effect”, and asked Spencer Pratt to punch his sister Stephanie Pratt, on air for The Hills. Spencer Pratt eventually never punched Stephanie. But in a news interview, Pratt is swinging back at the producer he claims wanted to deliver TV rating with a punch.

In a news interview published this weekend, Spencer Pratt details his final season for MTV’s The Hills. He claims that his life was changed after a producer named Sara Mast had an alleged conversation with him. Pratt claims that Mast allegedly told him to punch his sister and fellow cast member, Stephanie Pratt, on air. Why? Pratt said that Mast called it the “Snooki effect”.

” ‘Her exact quote: ‘That Snooki effect,’ ‘ Spencer said, referring to a Jersey Shore episode in which cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was hit by a fellow bar patron.” MTV, Mast, and the Hills creator refused to comment about the report.

Pratt implied the conversation occurred in spring 2010. In its second season, Jersey Shore’s highest numbers were 6.7. As of October 2010, Jersey Shore season 2 was averaging a 5.8 ratings share and 5.7 for P12-34. Season 2’s premiere drew a reported 5.3 million viewers and 5.1 for viewers 12-34. At the time, that number broke a seven year record last set by the premiere of season 2 of The Osbournes.

Heidi Montag next appears in “Famous Food” for VH-1.  At least some billboard advertisements for Famous Foods in West Los Angeles don’t feature Montag in the promotional picture.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Heidi Montag is bankrupt; Spencer Pratt says he and Heidi Montag are broke, may need bankruptcy protection, are homeless, and are “idiots”. The latest broke revelation from Pratt comes weeks after the couple got back together, after spending weeks staying in a luxurious vacation destination. The news follows Montag’s May announcement ending the business relationship, as she put it, called “Speidi”. “We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi. The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi.”

After the end of Speidi, the couple filed for divorce. Now the couple are back together in love, in depth, and without a home. “Heidi and I are moving into a Malibu beach house this summer. We’re really excited to do girly things and show people who we really are and that we’re really fun, sweet and loyal girls” said Jennifer Bunney last summer. Life and Style claims that cost the couple $35,000 a month. They reportedly spent $3 million on Heidi’s failed music career, and owe $2 million in back taxes.

But what else caused Montag’s money problems? Jersey Shore, claims Pratt. The couple said they were set to have 20 episodes in their final season; they were cut to 10. They initially add the series was set to air more years but was cut because of Jersey Shore’s zooming ratings.

“We thought The Hills was going to be like 90210 and we’d have another five to 10 years. The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Heidi Montag wears nose tape because she is worried that her nose will fall off. Heidi Montag tells news today that she lives in fear that he nose will fall off her face or even move, day to day.

“I don’t want my face to fall off like Michael Jackson’s.”

Montag says she has to wear the tape 24 hours a day. She claims that only this week did nosy news find out about her nose tape. “The tape is supposed to keep the swelling down and hold my nose in place the way Dr. Ryan sculpted it. Dr. Ryan always said I was his best, most cautious patient, and I’m not taking any chances now that he’s gone” she tells Life and Style.

Montag tells the magazine that she has not had more rhinoplasty. 2009 was the second time Montag had her nose fixed in two years. She claims that if she doesn’t wear tape her nose will move. “The last time I didn’t wear tape after surgery and my nose changed shape”.

Montag has been in Costa Rica with Spencer Pratt heating up news about reports of a tape deal. But in May,  Montag claimed an end professionally for Speidi as a business team. “We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi”. “The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi.”

MALIBU (LALATE) – Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub might be battling ripped hair extensions or trying to throw fake nails as  Andy Cohen serves as ringmaster. But all the Jersey drama is helping another reality star on the opposite coast, Heidi Montag deal with her own (possibly coming to a reality show) drama.

Montag over the weekend said that she is dealing with her tape drama but turning to Staub and Giudice’s drama to cheer her up.  Really? Montag tweeted she was “crying” followed by “Please send me your prayers and love I need it”. Thereafter, Montag said she found happiness to end the night, courtesy of Staub and Giudice. “The new Real Housewives of New Jersey just made my night.”
What could be the connection in Staub vs Giudice that cheers up Montag?

Is it one fugazi enjoying another?

While much of Montag’s publicity moments, and body changes, have be fabricated, it’s Joe Giudice who admitted to getting his wife a fugazi for their anniversary. Recently, Teresa wanted a diamond ring for her 10th wedding anniversary. But when Joe reveals his money flow is slow, his family member said to buy her a fugazi (Italian for “fake” aka imitation diamond ring).

Yet, Montag doesn’t admit which reality star of “Jersey” she enjoys the most. But Teresa is now notable for her own fake (tan) appearance. “I tan, I spray, and I bring the heat to Jersey at Sizzle Tan”.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Spencer Pratt’s claims about a Heidi Montag tape are inconsistent with Montag’s only claims about her health earlier this year. Spencer Pratt has told news that at least one tape has been recorded between him and Heidi Montag after her recent plastic surgeries procedure. But Pratt’s claim is inconsistent with Montag’s own claim about her condition at the time.

Pratt claims Montag had the ability to record a tape post surgery. But Montag told news at the time that she didn’t even have the ability to jog let alone hug people.

In April 2010, Heidi Montag told news at the time that she couldn’t even hug Pratt. “I’m very weird about hugging people now – [my body] is very fragile.” Montag added that she couldn’t jog either. By May 2010, Pratt and Montag had split.

If such a tape was recorded by Pratt and Montag in the month of April or earlier, it would seemingly contradict Montag’s own statements about her health at the time.  This would not be the first time that news questioned Montag’s comments post surgery. In April, while claiming she couldn’t hug people, Montag also claimed she had her back scooped out.  When Ryan Seacrest asked her what that procedure involved, Montag said “I actually didn’t know.” She went on to say she thought she was the first person to ever have a “back scooped” procedure. “I might be the first one to try it. It carves out your back a little bit” she then told US Magazine. She added she “had my waist cinched in on both sides.”

Pratt has yet to confirm if his alleged tapes features Montag before, with her whole back, and after with her back allegedly “scooped”.

In May, the relationship between Montag and Pratt deteriorated. Montag confirmed a professional split before an end in their marriage. “We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi”. “The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi.”  Last night, Montag tweeted she was simply “crying”. It’s a dramatic change from earlier this summer when she tweeted “Finally, the sun is out… … Swimming in my pool I love summer this is the first summer of my new life.”
