ORANGE COUNTY (LALATE) – RHOC 2014 is returning tonight to Bravo. But for Heather Dubrow, life at home, well, “it’s the Terry Dubrow Show”, she told fans last season. Now the Terry Dubrow Show is coming to TV, literally.
Heather Dubrow’s husband and Adrienne Malooof’s ex-husband are set to star in a RHOC / RHOBH spinoff crossover, with no housewives but lots of botox. Yes, Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif will reunite the OC with the 90210 in one new series. It’s from the same production company as RHOC and RHOBH, LALATE can report. But it won’t be coming to Bravo. And it won’t be called a spinoff, either.
RHOC’s Dr. Terry Dubrow and RHOBH’s Dr. Paul Nassif are set to star in “Botched”. “Botched” is not about a botched plan by Brandi Glanville to take down Lisa Vanderpump’s Queen B status. Rather it’s about plastic surgery. The series is from Alex Baskin, Douglas Ross, Greg Stewart and Mark Herwick from Evolution Media, the company behind RHOC, RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules. The show will feature each episode as Dr. Terry and Dr. Paul perform two, separate, surgeries to fix botched plastic surgery jobs.
And while the series seems like an easy fit for the pair, and the production company, why is it not coming to Bravo? For now, E! is excited about the show, debuting in the coming weeks ironically during the RHOC season. “In a culture fixated on looks, I think we are equally fascinated by stories of both good and terrible plastic surgery,” said Jeff Olde, executive vp programming and development, in a recent news statement. “As more and more people endure multiple procedures for that perfect look, all too often the outcome can be a nightmare. But with the help of two of the best doctors in the field, Botched will offer them a second chance at beauty.”
