CASTING! LALATE has heard that the new Hannah Montana TV series is set to hold casting auditions. If you ever wanted to be on Hannah Montana, this might be your final chance according new statements by Cyrus herself.

Last season, Hannah Montana got 30 episodes, not 16, giving the series two season in the can. Now Cyrus herself says the upcoming taping later this year could be her last for the series.

“We’re thinking this is our last season. I just think we did a lot of episodes. We basically did two seasons in one last year. Usually people would do one season that would be, like, 16 episodes, we did almost 30 episodes! It seems like it’s been on, like, longer.

“I’m still with my [Disney] family though. You know, they’re safe. They always feel like home. And that’s what I love about the company. They are family.”

“Hannah Montana - Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert” premieres tonight on Starz in standard- and high-definition starting 9 p.m. EDT Saturday, July 26; the 3-D version of the film will be on Starz on Demand and Starz HD on Demand channels on Sunday, July 27.

” “My character is named Travis Brody, 16, from Tennessee. I’m an old childhood friend of Miley Stewart’s. So she comes back and we both like each other but we really don’t let each other know till later on in the movie.”

“Producers made Lucas meet with Miley before giving him the part. ‘I had to do a screen test in LA with Miley. I thought I’d be so star struck meeting her but she’s so normal and such a nice person, I wasn’t nervous at all.’

“How is your family reacting to your new role? “My little cousins are like, ‘Hey can you get me Miley Cyrus’ autograph?’ Or they ask me if I get to kiss Miley, and I say..’ Ahh! The ending, we can’t tell you! It would ruin the ending but we can start some fun rumors right?’ ” “
